OK maybe that came across a bit strong but here's why those things happened in America, the leaders of the colonists would make deals with the indians then the leaders would go back to England and new leaders wouldn't honor the old deals and really piss off the natives by encroaching on their land and disrespecting and even killing indians with little or no reason and the natives would attack as they did in such wars as "The Tuscarora War" (which is one of the wars no one ever talks about but those things happened) and the colonies would get their militias and crush the indians and that went on forever.

In Mexico and South America the Conquistadors just killed all the natives with weapons or disease.

The Indians didn't have the man power or technology to beat the settlers....or the immune systems. I doubt they thought of those things before attacking the settlers but those things kept them from winning. And for a people who do not believe in ownership of land they were set up for disaster.

My opinion can come arcoss as harsh and obviously that one did but all I can say is sorry and try to explain why I posted it. I didn't mean to degrade the Indian culture or anything they had technology that was useful to them and were a strong society but their society was almost set up for Europeans to take over due to the immune systems, not believing in ownership of land, weapons meant more for hunting than fighting, and so on.

See - I told you he just did it to wind people up.

It was apparently the fault of the English that the Indians had all their land nicked, their people enslaved, shunted off to crappy reservations, denied any rights, eugenically cleansed etc. Thus speaks the Gospel according to Lyle.

Well that's what happened....I'm not blaming just the British it was just poor judgement and constantly changing leadership and disrespect of the indian people and the deals made with them.

I'm glad you can at least not be offended by this X.....I'm not trying to wind anyone up....I'm just trying to explain what I posted....I don't want to commit hate crimes or anything.

the following is in frustration and is sarcastic and not to be taken literally

People act like I personally killed all the indians....yeah, my bad people....I had the flu and in a haze I randomly shot and killed all of them....and then sneezed on the survivors. That was me....me personally....I hopped in my time machine and did all that.
