One of the lads I live with at uni is from detroit, and I was asking him what it was like compared to salford, a notoriously shitty and poor part of Manchester. He said it was very similar economically and socially, working class and post-industrial, but because there are guns so readily available in the US compared to over here its 10 times more dangerous out on the streets. The fact there are more murders in a WEEK in Detroit than there are over the course of a whole YEAR in Manchester, two cities of comparable size and economic position, says enough.

Take those pieces together and try to make anything that even resembles a picture or coherently recognizable shape. I think we do pretty damn good given our circumstances. Korea couldn't handle everytype of person and culture in the world living side by side neither could any country in the middle east. This isnt about guns look at what i said. Korea has a set culture and a set race. i did not say korea was the middle east i was just making a statement comparing their race relations to america. Over in korea they have korean traditions korean language and korean culture. America has so many different cultures its exposed to (UNLIKE KOREA AND ANY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD WHICH HAS ITS OWN PEOPLE AND CUSTOMS) that its going to clash.

When a korean walks down the street of korea he sees people that make the same amount of money as him look like him and live like him.
