Agree pretty much 100%...but not about the Cotto part.

I also think, that to truly seal his legacy, Floyd has to beat Butterbean.

He's the only truly skilled fighter left out there. Does anyone think Floyd would be able to get up to 525lbs for this fight?

I still truely belive that there's one man with the perfect style to beat Floyd Mayweather, and that is Ricky Hatton, Oscar proved that you can win rounds against Mayweather and so did Castillo, with effective pressure, persistance and perpetual forward motion. Forget the weight, it isn't an issue because they'll both be around 150-154 in the ring if its at welter, its all about styles. I've been saying this for 3 years now and others used to say it but they've all disappeared, but if they fight then I'm going to be putting a months pay on a Hatton victory. Mark my words, and when it happens, if Ricky loses you can all say I told you so but if not, oohhhh it'll be SO sweet.

I hate to say this...but I just don't see it that way in any way shape or form.

Collazo & Urango gave Hatton fits...& I don't see either of them troubling Mayweather.

IWO, the only way to beat Floyd is to match his speed & endurance...& the only man I see that could do that was Judah on speed & then Mosley on the speed & endurance part.

Hatton's bullish style would get him picked apart, IWO.

you seem to forget just how quick hatton can be with his hands , also as far as endurance goes hatton was one of the best for endurance till recently when balooning up between fights has started to effect him a lot but if he could that back on track he could beat pbf

Also...I don't think that even the Hatton that beat Kostya would beat Floyd.

Hurts me to say it, but I totally agree

Hatton = One of the best 140 pounders of his era

PBF = one of the best pound for pounders in History

Hatton at 147. This was a fight that should have happened after Mayweather's bout with Gatti. Plus, I feel this is a very winnable fight for Floyd. If Floyd could be the first to take Hatton's 0, which I believe he would do in a very dominating fashion, that would be another huge step for him.

With a few more big superfight wins against guys like Hatton, Cotto, and even Mosley, IMO Floyd should go down as one of the greatest of all time.

The only thing that saved Oscar from a lathering is the fact he was big and strong enough to deflect a good number of Mayweather straight punches and Oscar has a good defense... I am a fan of Ricky and his style but Dan he would get slaughtered plain and simple... Hatton has very limited defensive skills and from a pure Boxing standpoint he is not in the same stratosphere as Floyd ... Not to mention in his last few fights he has faded down the stretch too... Ricky would suffer the same fate as Gatti did, when Hatton moves forward with that leaky defense he is going to pay
