Boxing is having a pretty good time of late...we musnt grumble or groan about some of the fights we have on the cards!!
There is NO WAY Zab can make Cotto look amateurish?! Cotto is overall, the more rounded fighter so even if Zab does win,I doubt Miguel will look amateurish!

You're right about the great fights though,we have been spoilt this year sofar and plenty more to come!

Damn, I was thinking the fight was tonight.

Either way, I assume Zab will do what he's known to do, look good early and then gradually fade and break down. You would think a guy like Zab would be hell on pressure fighters but he's just not, he just mentally breaks down and has too many flaws like pulling straight back with his hands down. Mainly I think its just a mental breakdown though, he just doesn't know what to do when a guy takes his shots and keeps coming. Its not surprising that his best performance was against a slick boxer with no punch. Still I wouldn't be shocked if he stopped Cotto early, I still am not convinced about Cotto's chin and defence, but I'll go with Cotto to break him down, late stoppage.

I can't believe you said this!! There is only one fighter that both Judah and Cotto have both met and he goes by the name of Dermacus Corley. The fight was really close and Judah won out a Split Decision. Cotto on the other hand, Well .......he just f*****!! him up!! So if anybody has skillz here he goes by the name of Miguel Cotto!! He's got the skillz to box and has the skillz to slug!! oh, and hits hard to the body as well!! After this fight is over, and Cotto dominates Judah...Everyone is going to be putting Cotto's name up there w/ the best at 147!

I think you're being a little to scepticle of Cotto Wack to be honest. I think Cotto is the better fighter and I think the style favors Miguel Cotto.
Oh tighten up your fuckin panties amat!

    Please.

All I am saying is that Cotto aint a fwockin god & he aint a human terminator...not matter what his fans want to say...& I'm one of em!

Again...let me state that I aint a fan of Judah nor am I buying in to what Judah says...I never listen to him when he starts bumping his gums. The problem with most fans is that they don't broaden their gotdam horizons & factor in the possibilities that there fighter can & will get beaten.

I'm thinking Zab will give Cotto some very hard early couple of rounds, If Cotto survives that... He will stop Zab by Ko.

    about Corley...

if by "Cotto just f***** him up!!" you mean that Cotto got tagged hard and almost got knocked out that fight , then yea your right. That fight is a negative for Cotto imo, it showed he has a bit of trouble with southpaw slicksters. The fight had a terrible stoppage aswell .

This is why I love boxing. So many contrasting opinions about any one fight. Malignaggi took a beating off Cotto, but was able to box and move effectively for a number of rounds. Malignaggi has NO power. Zab has better tools than Malignaggi, greater experience and actually has power. There are question marks about Cottos chin and its only his second bout at welterweight.....

    I stand by my statement

Well you had better believe it that I said it because I did indeed say just that. Zab Judah is the best opponent Cotto has faced to date. Im not a huge Judah fan but do believe he has the tools neccessary to give Cotto one heck of a fight.

Precisely, my old friend. CC # 2951. I'm as big a fan as they come of my favorite fighters (a.k.a. Tito, and now Cotto). But I've always tried to maintain a realistic outlook on their chances against certain opponents. Like I've said many times before, there's a difference between wanting a fighter to win, and predicting he's going to win. When they're one and the same.... GREAT. But sometimes they're not.

I can't stand Judah and hope with all my heart that Cotto shuts that big mouth of his. But I'm also realistic in the sense that a focused Judah has the tools to make this a good and dangerous fight for Cotto. He's a southpaw (difficult for many right-handers), he's fast, and he packs a punch. Cotto's no slouch, obviously. And if he minds his defense in the first few rounds, he should have no problems in the middle to later rounds. But the danger exists.

Look how frustrated Cotto got with Urkal in PR in his last fight. Now Zab isnt going to be leading with his head but if he keeps on the move he's got the speed and power to really get inside cotto's head. If Zab's timing/speed caused some trouble for Mayweather..it could really mess with cotto.

Cotto always comes forward with the body attack. It has always worked for him but he gets frustrated when it doesnt work and has nothing to fall back on.

If Judah times cotto coming in ala Malignaggi did once he started to fight smart then cotto will be picked apart. The only thing I worry about is judah coming out too strong...if he brings patience, keeps moving, and keeps distance I like his chances.

I voted Judah via TKO. Judah knows this is his do or die fight.

If judah is goin to win is goin he has to hurt cotto in da early rounds, if he doesnt he is in trouble becasue cotto hits hard and will pressure him and body punch to death, and well judah has no heart i think he has great skills but his chin and lack of heart hurt him.
if judah was in ""fight nights round 3" he would have something like
    94% speed
    86% power
    and like 65% heart

    right back babe.

Here's the deal...I hate Judah...with a passion...but he is a great fighter when & if he applies himself.

He has all the tools to beat Cotto. He's fast, powerful, & comes at you from all angles when he's motivated...let's just hope he aint motivated for this fight like he keeps proclaiming.

That being said...I hope that Cotto destroys him & crams those tools up Judah's poop-chute, though.

Both of them will test each others chin.

After watching HBO Cotto-Judah countdown, Zab gets stupid everytime someone knocks him down. He gets up right away while wobbling and doesn't give the ref a chance to do the 8 count.

I admire Cotto's recovery everytime he gets rocked.
