But vs a Cotto, Hatton, Margarito if Floyd isn't THE STAR then he's not as great as he considers hiomself to be... Floyd is undefeated for a reason other than he's good, he's undefeated because he has fought fighters he has hand picked: Oscar older, slower, less focused on fighting; Judah, they've known each other forever and Zab is a mentally weak fighter; Gatti a blue collar limited boxer who is only one thing and that's TOUGH; Baldomir, big slow, easy to hit and not be countered by......Where's the BEEF in Floyd's resume? What on his record makes him head and shoulders above the rest besides his mouth?

Ask Ring Magazine, as they have him #1 P4P. People wanted to see him fight Corrales when they were undefeated, and he fought him. People wanted to see him fight Castillo a second time after they thought Castillo beat him, and he fought him. People wanted to see him fight DLH, and he fought him. People want to see him fight Hatton, and he's fighting him in November. You seem to be overlooking one glaring fact, Floyd generally tends to fight who people want him to fight. You mention Gatti and Judah yet don't seem to want to recognize that those are simply tuneups, which is something every single fighter has on their resume, yet you seem to want to punish only Floyd for it.

In order for Floyd to be a legend he has to beat Moseley, Cotto/Margareto, Hatton at 140lb in that order.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Sorry who wanted Floyd vs De la Hoya ? Sure it was a popular idea when the fight was announced , but before the match was made, nobody was saying OH GOD FLOYD HAS TO FIGHT ODLH NOW!

Especially the hardcore fans, who gave a sh** about Floyd fighting some old fighter at a high weight when there is so many prime fighers down in the welters.

grrr, that matchup makes me so angry because It was such a load of bull from the acting to the actual fight.

Is this a serious question? Who wanted Floyd v. DLH? Judging by the ppv numbers, quite a few people wanted to see it.

....people want to see Floyd challenged and judging by how boring people say the fight was I would say over 50% of the fans weren't pleased with the fight.

I'm not arguing with you there. I'm just saying who people wanted to see him fight. How the fight turns out is all on Floyd, and with Baldomir and a few others, it's understandable how he can be offputting.

floyd is the best hands down right now idc what anyone says and until hatton or cotto or margarito beat him then thats what he is margarito needs to worry about the rangy paul williams first and Hatton wants floyd bad everyone knows that. ricky will give floyd a run for his money we all know ricky is going to attack. Look for this to be an exciting fight. The main question to ask and look for is how will floyd handle Rickys pressure??

.....dan who thought Antonio Tarver would blast Roy Jones out in 2 Just saying your the best doesn't really prove it and if you don't fight and beat the best then all you are doing is talking.

He doesn't even have to beat all of them, just give it everything and perform well. (Stop trying to protect an undefeated record.)
    Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!
    Pump 'ya breaks....
Berto! BERTO! You mean Andre Berto? The young prospcet?
Oh! hell no, Berto ain't gonna be ready for no PBF within 2 yrs.
Berto has more then 2 yrs. to cover if he want's to have a long wining career. Moving up in class is NOT always a good idea. Sure it works for some but those can be counted for in 1 hand.
Also theres no need to fight Tito, Tito needs to stay retired and enjoying his family and life now just like Lennox and JCC.

    Here's my 2 cents:

Fight someone who stands a better than punchers chance of beating him. Don't select fighters past their prime or easy targets. Pick someone hard for a change. I won't bother listing the names, many were presented in previous posts. Above all, floyd knows who they are and HE needs to seek them out.

3 more fights just 3 and he will become a legend, greatest lb for lb or what ever he wants to call himself.

    and Those are:

First he has to fight Mosley.
    second Fight Hatton
third Winner of Cotto vs MArgo/Williams

and he is set for that mentioned at the beginning. How hard can it be?
