British RBR Action - Four big title fights!

Round 1:

They've actually renamed the show from the Big Fight Live to "Amir Khan: The Big Fight Live" which shows how much ITV are banking on the boy wonder from Bolton to be their boxing flag bearer. They've given him the big build-up, part of me wants to see Willie Limond do a number on him. Anyhow, less of my jibber-jabbering, lets see some pain.

Khan opening up with a few jabs, and as Limond comes in a left hook catches Limond. Khan with the body shot. Khan jabs, but a left hook from Limond lands. This is a right tear up as Khan comes forward with body shots, and Limond with a short right up top. Limond jabs, but a right from Khan gets through. Short shots from Khan, and they clinch. Limond jabs. Khan with quick jabs. Right hook in as well, Limond returns a jab. Khan more cautious tonight. But when he comes forward they do look to trade. Body shot and a left hook from Limond, but Khan returns a hook of his own.

Good opening round, Khan edging it with his work and fast hands.

Round 2:

Right from LKhan gets through, then a left. Limond's jabs finding Khan;s gloves. Limond with a boy shot, but Khan fires off four body shots, and a right hand to the head. Left hook, and Limond stumbles back off balance. Jab and a straight riht from Limond, they clinch again. Limond with short left and right hooks. Khan with a jab jab straight. Body shot from Limond. Khan jabs again. Limond jabs, but a right counter from Khan. Two jabs from Khan too, and blocks a Limond left hook. Jab straight right from Khan. Limond with a left on the bell.

Khan's round, but good stuff this from both guys.

Round 3:

Khan opens with a pair of jabs. Jab and hard right from Limond. Khan falls short with some jabs. Limond fires the left jab into Khans face. Khan falls short then gets tied up. Right hook from Limond. SHort body shots from Khan, then a right upperhook from Limond. Limond jabs, then a good counter. Khan falling short. Body shot from Khan, and a hook on the gloves. Good counter from Limond, and Khan comes forward with a jab and straight. Limond with two short body shots. Hook from Khan, but a hard jab from Limond lands. Khan jabbing, but an uppercut and a body shot from Limond. Khan comes forward with a body shot.

Limond gets off the mark with that one.

Round 4:

Khan slow to come out of the corner. Jab from Limond, and Khan falls short with jabs. Left hook, then tow rights to the body from Khan. Right from Limond. Khan jabbing well, but Limond returns with a hook of his onw. Flurry of short punches from KLhan. Limond lands three body shots, and Khan fires back a right hand. Body shot and nice jab from Khan. Jab hook from Khan. Nice flurry again from Khan, though a tight guard from Limond. Limond goes forward with a right, and Khan looked to be leaning on shakily for a second. Khan with two jabs and a hook, then high guard. Limond looking for Khan, who is warned for a body shot straying low.

Khan's work in the first 2 minutes earn him that round.

Round 5:

Khan pings two jabs to the body. Good jab from Limond, but a body shot from Khan just before they clinch. Limond with short body shots in the clinch. Good straight right gets through from Limond. Khan with a jab and a hook. Jab from Khan, an limond with a hard right to the body. The ref is taling to the both of them often. Khjan with a few jabs. Jab and straight right again from Khan. Limond comes forward. Three straight shots from Khan. Khan with a jab, and Limond not getting inside this round. Body shot from Limond. Good overhand right from Limond, but a flurry from Khan on the bell.

49-46 to Khan.

Lamond is definitely still in this fight!

Khan caught with a right, and two more left hooks. Khan claims he was pushed, but gets an 8 count. Khan looks in trouble, as Limond comes forward with another big right, and Khan cliunches. Khan holds, as Limond goes to the body. Khan looks out of it, as Limond comes forward with two body shots, and jabs and rights up top.. Limond with another right. Khan bravely comes back with two jabs and a straight right. Khan is still dazed, and Limond isn't getting in quickly enough. Jab and right from Khan. Limond jabs. Khan returns. Right to the body from Limond.

Limond with a fantastic round.
57-56 to Khan, but the boy wonder seems in trouble.
