Definately early stoppagge, dont get me wrong Vasquez by Ko was my pick, but that leaves a bad taste in my mouth... Part 3 anyone Vasquez upped him by 1 round...Awesome fight while it lasted!

Ok so the big question, does this make Isreal Vazquez p4p?

I think if anything it exposes Marquez as being overatted more than Vazquez being a great. What are your thought?

A good post topic for tommorrow I think.

Uh-oh....lets have a whip round to send him to the soup kitchen....I warned him about gambling. Give it a month and you'll be the guy in the park talking to himself whilst wearing a tatty old suit, except with your underwear on the outside.

Won't be the first time....And I will not share my soup with you if it happens again...
You survive to live at home for another few fights...or until the next bet at least. sounds like a great fight....wish it was being shown over here... I'm surprised to see Marquez lose though TBH.

I don't think it makes Marquez over rated...Vasquez is not some ham and egger.....this is a former champion and the first fight was a smoker...If not for the nose who knows how it would have ended.....

A bit early stoppage...maybe but lets be real the KO was coming...Marquez was hurt.....and Vasquez was getting stronger he knew he needed to end things quick...he was a fighter on a mission

What a fight anyway, that was a beautiful left hook by Vasquez, this should be like the old school rivalries where they fight like 5-7 times..Damn they make for great fights against each other.

I picked Marquez to win....I was suprised myself.....Vasquez put on a great performance no one can take anything away from him...

Nothing can be taken from Marquez as well

Two warriors tonight and two fighters who show what heart and skill is about......

BTW all three judges had Velaquez ahead on the cards

CC to everyone. Great fight, the first was kind of a stinker but Vasquez Marquez once again lived up to the hype.

I know Vazquez is no bum I just think a true p4p fighter would be able to control him. If Floyd, Winky or B Hop were featherweights I'm sure they would pitch virtual shutouts against him.

I agree with those that say the stoppage was early; that said, I do think Marquez's legs were gone, and it was only a matter of time before he went. In fact, I think his legs went in the 5th when Vasquez hurt him with a left hook. It's a shame that fight has to end controversially, but I think Vasquez was going to end it later in the 6th because Marquez's legs were gone. A 3rd bout is definiately in order, and I can't wait to see it. Vasquez proved his critics wrong tonight.
