This fight makes me think of the Naseem Hamed fight and the 3rd Morales fight....Barrera has seen out both. It wouldnt be the first time Barrera has upset the odds.

Its scheduled for 12. Thats enough for a decision. Pac can train for 50 as far as I care. Its about the strategy. We all know Pac is gonna try and throw as much as he can in 12 rounds. Its for Barrera to land the telling blows and keep the defence sharp.

Morales showed how it can be done, and Pac hasnt improved as much as his propagandists declare. Barrera has 10 times the smarts of Pac and that will tell in this fight.
That so called "strategy" will end up tragedy for MAB. Let's see how MAB maintain that "sharp defence" for full 12 rounds . So much for "10 times smarter" when it was Barrera who got battered in their first encounter .

Morales showed how it can be done indeed. But Pac showed also how it can be done (Pac-EM 2&3). It's either you're just a hater or incarcerated since 2003 if you think Pac hasn't improved since his last bout with MAB.

I dont feel as if im a hater. Ive stated on many an occasion that Pac is an extremely good fighter. Numerous times.

You keep bringing up the first fight as your reference point. The way I see it though is that Barrera is the expert at making adjustments. He will adjust once more and make this a very interesting fight. It wont be a replica of the first fight which you think it will, since its always your reference point.

Now, I have given due respect to both fighters and cannot in all credibility be accused of hating.

    Come on now

I think mab is overrated when it comes to making adjustments, junior jones didn't beat him twice for him to be called an expert of adjustment. I think style makes fights, mab style is just not what beats pac. he does not have erics natural advangtage such as height. Mab was once the bigger men versus pac which was in the first fight. Pac first 126 fight was with mab. Now it seems like pac is the bigger men which is weird becuase pac blew up quick while keeping his speed. I just can't see mab winning unless he can k.o pac which is unlikely because pac has a tough tough chin. mab has to come in in great great shape. His going to take a lot of shots from pac he has to be able to last through the pain. If he can't handle pacs speed he must atleast handle the pain pac dishes out. He have to counter and be as accurate as possible. Pac is a strong strong fighter, that alone is a huge task for mab to overcome. Mab has got to pull off the greatest performance of his life, becuase pac is not taking him lightly.

to be honest i think mab would resort to some headbuttings and dirty tactics just to get into manny's head. a cut here and there wouldn't augur well for the pacman. remember the pac-agapito sanchez and the first pac-morales encounter? if mab could give manny a bad cut then he has a chance to win a decision though i still see him fading in the late rounds. or marco could win via stoppage on the outside chance he catches pac flush with several and successive bad intention punches which i think is possible but unlikely.

Hope MAB does not resort to dirty tactics. I still admire the guy. If he does resort to dirty tactics, then he is doomed to infamy. This is his last fight, hope he leaves a good name to boxing.

You admire MAB? Well, I don't. I respect his boxing skills but I don't respect him as a person coz he's full of sh*t. I salute other boxers that play fair eventhough they are way beyond the likes of a legend. Atleast they are man enough to fight fairly not like mab the cheater. Many mexicans deserve to be called a legend like julio cesar chavez, erik morales, even juan manuel marquez because they dont resort to cheap unsportsmanlike behavior and cheat. But sorry to say that marco antonio barrera doesnt deserve to be with them.

The most f*cked up that I heard from him is that he said he would revenge the defeat of his fellow mexicans against the pacman. LMFAO!!! After he cheated his fellow countrymen hes got the guts to say that? The evidence of this is erik morales - he wants to be on the side of the pacman and that is because he knows how to be cheated by mab. Erik knows that, thats why he wants to talk to manny before the fight. erik is a true gladiator, a legend and is a fair fighter that is why even though his a mexican he cant be at the side of this cheating mab. mab just want all the mexicans to support him just like the support of the filipinos for the pacman. But unlike mab, pacman is a fair fighter and does not resort to cheating thats why the filipino and the people of the world loves him.

Maybe it's just a brain fart but I honestly don't remember MAB being considered a cheater or dirty fighter. Could you site some examples for me? Apparently, I need a refresher course and I would like to look up those instances where he has cheated on a consistant basis.

I'll be honored to refresh your memory

cheated pacman- headbutt at the chest, punch after referee told them to stop punching. cheated juan manuel marquez- punched him while he was down. morales- elbowed morales in the face. hamed- held him and wrestled him to the corner of the ring. only some of the unfair dirty tactics of mab. unfair play means you cheat. non of this dirty tactics are needed up in the boxing ring. I hope that would be enough info for you

if not, please do take your time to watch this quick footage...

Thanks for the refresh PAC. The video didn't really show anything bad against Juarez, I remember the NAZ thing and applauded at the time (but that was at that time and I really felt he needed it). The EM thing was a chump move and WOW, how did he not get the DQ for doing such a dickish thing against JMM. God, I've watched a lot of MAB but don't remember shit about how much of a prick he can be.

    Cc back bro +38

You're right. He was only taunting Juarez, bad mouthing him in the ring and sh*t. More like verbal. MAB wasn't really desperate against Juarez.

But expect a frustrated MAB comes oct.6. Don't be surprised if MAB pulls a fast one (cheat).

    Pacstraight,

I know why you don't like MAB. Watching his fights, I know the guy sometimes resort to dirty tactics. I still admire the guy for the schooling he had given to Naz. That was classical. As for his being a dirty fighter, I can forget about it when he was fighting other guys. But against PAc, I won't tolerate it. No way will I forgive him if he goes dirty.

    Cc

I can tolerate arrogant fighters like Hamed or Darchinyan. Maybe I just have zero tolerance for dirty b@stard fighters
