What did that actually contribute to a thread started by someone asking a genuine question?

What keeps getting ignored is that it's not the first time he's taken it upon himself to threw his weight around the main board...and he was warned then. Now he's been punished. End of.

VD's behavior aside, there was no need for that guy to be completely condescending towards everyone else. He should know that if you bring up another forum on a different forum's website, somebody's gonna have a complaint and say some bad things about it. That would've happened anywhere else, in fact it would've been far worse elsewhere. Again with all his infinite wisdom, he could've pm'd somebody or put it in spam. The guy is clearly far more of a wind up merchant than anything else. I'm not arguing with the VD ban, i'm just saying he should've got something too as he is the one who escalated it.

The Hatton site was also designed by Saddo (although he doesn't post there) so it's not unusual for the posters there to come here (if it's down) and ask what's happening...and vice versa I might add.

I find it interesting to see that only Violent Demise was banned and not the other attacking posters. Why is that? After reading over the thread I see Violent Demise bad mouthing the Hatton forum, not the poster. And defending himself after personal attack made on him. Yet he is the one being banned? I understand that established posters should ease up on the new ones. But does that mean that new posters can come in here attacking established ones without any repercussions? What was the real reason for Violent Demise\'s current ban? It couldn\'t of been his fight with Terry, since you still have booze and frozen still posting. And there fight was longer. I\'m asking cause I\'m a big fan of Violent Demise\'s posts. And would hate to see him dismissed over nothing. Seems like this forum is starting to turn into the Hatton forum 2.

How anybody could like the guys drivvle is beyond me - but he does have his groupies for sure

I guess when your dealing with different cultures and attitudes its hard to really see the humor or appreciate the candor of some....I have noticed the majority of people around here are not tolerant of others that arent cut from the same cloth or beliefs of others they are immediately ganged on or ostracized

Because I spend so much time on here as do loads of other people and I pretty much come on here to talk about boxing and not to hear loadsa childish sh1t like he spouts. I can go down to the local youth club if I wanna hear that kinda plop

My observation is that you, Fenster and even some other Mods draw 1st blood with him on quite a few occasions, so its a 2 way street and BOTH sides are quite guilty of fanning the flames.

VD is just an easy target to punish since he is controversial..... Tell you what though, there are just as many if not more that were inquiring about VD and concerned with his were abouts on his abscense, than there were inquiring about BritKid and his were abouts... So from a popularity and tolerance level he isint as hated as most would portray  to the contrary he is pretty damn well liked

I've never drawn 1st blood with the guy - it's not my style. At the end of the day I don't like the guy - you do - no biggie.
