Sultan was moving the wrong direction from the gate he was staying at the wrong distance. a dream come true for the tall, naturally gifted Ukrainian. Wlad couldn’t have asked for a better situation to materialize.

Hell even as a fan of this man, you can't deny disappointment in the effort?

for once the spotlight was on the HW division and it did nothing positive. A (World Champion ) has a certain responsibility to show some type of desire to at least try and close the distance when the opportunities are right there for the taking,, they should have been seized no excuses . ..

for both man really ! neither had the desire , shameful performance for what was at stake IMO.. much love

shame because the division got a bit of good light towards this fight but that seems to have nail interest totally shut

i recently rewatched, holyfield v bowe 1. dame shame they dont make them like they used to............. hell of a heavyweight fight that one was

Well LG we can debate strategy all day long but when it comes down to it we do agree on the fact it was a disappointing effort.

Nuclear Bull, Vitali-Lennox was the last great heavyweight fight and that didn't garner as much attention as it deserved and was never capitalized upon the way Vitali could have due to injuries and the fact there was no rematch.

All heavyweight boxing needs is a signature win in an exciting fight Wladimir could do it vs Sam Peter, Nikolay Valuev, or hopefully someone else who is dangerous and deserves a shot

Exactly!!!! Wlad has an oppurtunity to forge his legacy as a powerhouse in a lackluster division, but he is content to do enough to get by only. He has every advantage over any other heavyweight size, strength, speed, technique etc.. except for heart and courage which a fighter with less talent will beat him because they possess the latter

You cannot doubt Wladimir's heart...I explained before and I'm not going to do it again.

Sultan Ibragimov has heart and he's a smart fighter which is why he lasted the distance. He had more power than Chris Byrd and did deserve some respect...not THAT much but some.

Sure Brewster and Purrity took advantage of Wlad's stamina issues, sure it took heart to take that punishment HOWEVER if those guys couldn't physically take the punishment then they wouldn't have been around later to win the fight.....also jabbing those two guys more would have lead to wins over both of them.

Corrie Sanders has little dedication to the sport and it's hard to have heart when you're not fully dedicated. He beat Wladimir because he had a Kamikazi style approach to fighting Wlad.....not because of heart.

Heart is not lacking in either of the Klitschko's and to say it is, well it's simply a bogus statement.
