I was fairly impressed. Nice poise, takes a few to many shots but he has good balance which he didn't have last time I saw him. I was also impressed with the counterpunching he was doing in the early rounds, that's something new and that's a good skillset to possess.

Definitely still a while away but he's progressing nicely from when I last saw him.

Coming from someone whos met him a had the opp. to be around him on one occasion he's very cool. You gotta undertand he's in his early 20's and he likes to have fun just like anyone else. People forget that because we see them on the telie and all that they have to come across as humble amd respectful all the time he's a kid whose living the life and is enjoying it. He hangs out with some of the most recognized Mexican stars in the world.

The times I've seen him on the telie he hasn't come across as arrogant. It might be the "Sinaloense" persona. (Sinaloa being the city he's from) it is said that the 'Sinaloenses' as they are known have strong characters and speak very fast with a persona that makes them look very assertive about who they are.
Matter a fact you can also see this same thing with Jorge Arce who's also from Sinaloa.

So we ordered this PPV card last night and it was okay for $30 bucks I guess.

Orlando Salido beat some ass.

Omar Chavez (JCC Jr.'s bro) barely got the nod in a 4 round fight.

And Chavez Jr. beat up on a guy who came straight in and out with his chin up and had a flashy record but NO power. lol.

Aside from Omar Chavez almost gettin his first loss, it was good matchmaking for the favorites all night.

I like Chavez but I find that a bit ridiculous. Cotto and Margarito? Naaaaah, can't see it. As crazy as hearing people say that Cotto will completely dominate and easily take Mayweather to school...umh, sure.
