But anyway, I appreciated your private comments. As far as the comments you made on here, well, again, sorry bud but all I can say is you're not at that point in life yet. You're 28 and not even finished school. By 28 I had already been through grad school and was out in the working world for three years, and living on my own in a foreign country. I'll bet you still live with your parents. I'm not trying to be a dick, but your comments were very naive. 600,000 people were laid off in the US in January alone. One family in the US committed murder suicide... them and their 5 kids. That's how desperate the situation is. Even the British PM has said this is a global depression.

But anyway, fuck it. Cheers. Hope you never look at the same job markets I am.
No, I am not at that point in life yet. And yes, my comments were rash.

I am 28, but I dont live with my parents. In fact, I havent lived in my home country for over 6 years now. I left for the wide world as a nipper. And as for grad school, yes, I am still studying. But have been doing that over distance whilst also trying to balance a heavy work load and thats almost accomplished. Admittedly I havent bothered to work hard for money in recent months though.

Anyway, Im not looking for a debate about any of that. Just defending myself against a few of your points. You are right that the economic situation sucks. Especially the US one, its getting worse every day. And its not going to get better soon. I should have shown more sensitivity to your situation, and instead went off on one with no real justification. Im not proud of having done so, as I said.

The industry I am in can get more picky as we get more mature, just like many others. So, I may well have similar difficulties down the road. I hope not, but there you go. Anyway, I hope all is cool, and I will definitely learn from this little episode. Cheers.
