Good observations but we are forgetting a weakness from Hatton. Remember how he got connected vs Mayweather with the so called check hook? He is prone to that and can be seen in many of his fights. Jumping forward to do a left hook. That's something I am concerned of. Pac has a strong left and if Hatton jumps forward to do his leaping attack, it can be a bad idea. Hatton has knocked down opponents with that but he can also be connected. He kept chasing Mayweather around the ring only to receive straight rights to his face. I hope that is worked out in a way or the other with Mayweather Sr. in his corner. Remember the 24/7 video that I posted? Roach and Moorer were spot on when it came to an approach vs Hatton.

I'll root for Ricky. I like Pac but I want to see him loose so bad! Not by decision because that will have all hardcore PacFanBoys question the decision just like they totally agree with the outcomes of both Marquez fights and even question Morales first easy win. So I want a KO/TKO with Pac flat on his back. Once Pac loses, he'll have a Mexican fan right here rooting for him vs Mayweather, Cotto, etc.

When it comes to their mistakes and strengths, I somehow see Pac winning it no matter how much I don't want to.
he does lunge in carelessly at times, but Pacquiao is no Mayweather to connect a left hook when jumping back away from Hatton
You're right. Pac is no Mayweather for that and even less when it comes to defense. Reason why Pac comes out of his fights with cuts, bruises, blood all over the place, etc. Hatton is not a defense great either.

From now on, I'll just let Pacquiao and Hatton gloves do their talking inside the ring to find out who's the better fighter. All these jibber-jabbers, praisings, trash talks, media blah blah blahs are nothing to me but all hypes. We're almost there folks. I'm excited as you are and I can't wait too.

    See y'all come May 3rd!

    Pacquiao by TKO in 9th

or if his bodyshots are land

    Hatton by TKO/KO in 5th

Not sure it'd be fair at all to call Hatton P4P #1 even if he did beat Pacquiao, in fact, I know it wouldn't be fair.

But if you're trying to annoy the Pacquiao fans that's probably the right thing to say

I'm also completely 50/50 on this fight. Something in me says Pacquiao is going to be too fast and will catch Hatton on the way in all night long. Something also tells me that Hatton is going to rough Pacquiao up on the inside and will eventually get those body shots in to knock Pac out.

Pac is my favorite fighter but in every fight I always seem to think he's going to lose. Maybe if I keep thinking that way, he won't.

    Hatton by KO... =)

Hatton will be P4P#1 on May 2nd and then will secure that status by beating P4P#2 JMM

Always nice to hear a PacFan have a balanced opinion and not seeing Pac as the invincible fighter but seeing both outcomes of the fight, his strengths and weaknesses, etc.

In my case, my guys have been loosing lately (Taylor, ODLH, Arce, etc.) So this time, I'll root for Pac and see if it helps to see him loose .

    Go Pac!

It is because of (cough) "logic" such as this that I'm rooting for Pacquiao.

Just so you know, I think most Hatton fans on here would disagree with that statement too. It's ludicrous.

I have always felt that the ballooning of weight in between fights will catch up to Hatton. His biggest strength is obviously his relentless pressure and body punching...but at this stage of his career, against a faster and more skilled fighter...i don't think he has the stamina. Pac has obviously improved...but i still feel like he is flirting with disaster by fighting this high in weight. That being said, i still think Pac has too much speed for Hatton. The great thing about Pac is that he loves to war...and when these two go at it in the center of the ring, it should be exciting. But ultimately Pac will use his better speed, skill, and stamina to frustrate Ricky. So unless Floyd snr. has really improved Hatton's defense and skill...i see Pac winning on points. Hopefully it's an exciting fight!

a very exciting bout and one of the greatest match for this year, but I think "MONEY's(Manny Pacquiao) :speed and skill will keep him dominating the bout,

and on this day is the greatest nightmare of Ricky hatton in his boxing career!

all he can do is to run run and run escaping from mannys fist!

I wish there was a way to restrict the poll to only those with 100 posts or more, because there is a growing list of names who have voted for Pac who are unknown.

    I'm surprised Hatton is winning.

Looks like plenty of Brit pros fancy him too.
