Brazil was awesome in the second half.

They deserved it, should have been 4 really.

If we had just not given up the goal right at the start of the second half maybe it goes differently.

    Oh well.

And Sasha Klejstan. What does he do well? I'm confused.

    But it was fun.

I'm not gonna complain much but I'd rather see Freddy Adu late than Conor Casey.

Anyway, I said I wasn't going to complain much.

Yeah Brazil is the better team...we lost focus a little bit and it cost us. We have still got to build on this, hold the ball a bit, control pace, control the flow of the game.

I think Adu would have offered more than Sacha in terms of attack...wish he got used more.

Defense looked a little tired but when Cherundolo and Hedjuk come back from injury it'll be pretty deep. We've got a good solid midfield that I think shaped up a bit....Bradley, Dempsey, Donovan, Clarke with Adu and Feilhaber on the bench. Attack needs to do a little more, Davies is very active, it's great, and Altidore can finish better than anyone else we have, but we have to control the ball better.

Great match for us (first half at least), big accomplishment even though we lost...I hope it carries over for us.

Well our boys gave us a great effort, they played with a ton of heart, and they showed they can hang in there with the best teams in the world and even beat them.

Clint Dempsey seemed to take the loss pretty hard...hopefully they realize they can build on this and do it right in the World Cup!

Well done USA, I bet Roy Hodgson is not to pleased Clint Dempsey had such a good tournament!! Put himself in the shop window for bigger clubs than Fulham.

Who is with we regarding them fucking Horns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THEY NEED TO BE BANNED!!! IF THEM HORNS ARE NOT BANNED FOR THE WORLD CUP NEXT YEAR I'L PROBABLY WATCH THE WORLD CUP ON MUTE!!

So fucking annoying reminded me of how annoying them dicks with the brass band at the Hatton fights are, but one hundred times worst. If them horns are not banned next year it will ruin the atmosphere for the biggest sporting event in the world.

They might just only allow them for South Africa games. Which would be all right I guess. Some might claim an unfair advantage, I don't know. They are annoying.

Quality match and the USA will be a force next year, just think they did run out of legs. PS Gabby Yorath looked fit

I would just prefer Dempsey stays at Fulham. Very good manager, maybe not an assured place in the starting lineup but pretty much. Playing in Europe this year.

Lets face it he's not gonna get a place at a big four team regularly and outside of that there are a lot of horizontal moves or backwards steps unless Fulham just tries to cash in, although I don't know who would bring big money outside of Hangeland.

If he he went to a bigger club in England I guess I'd prefer maybe Everton. They have a pretty solid midfield already though.

I know what your saying for confidence and a starting place, he would defintly benefit staying at Fulham, but hes a very under rated player had a great seaosn last year and for me along with the tall Norweigen centre back the name I cant think of right now were there two best players, I could see a Everton or a Spurs coming in for Dempsey. Quality player imo.

Yeah, Hangeland. He could go to a big four team. Or big five I guess now.

Jozy Altidore wants out of Spain...If Liverpool is looking for a cheap(cheaper than Villa)/effective option at striker Jozy might be it.....also Charlie Davies looks great, I hope he can stay at that level because Demarcus Beasley and Eddie Johnson both started off for the US in similar fashion but wound up being huge disappointments.

So we've basically got out starters set, I'm interested in what moves are going to be made to get us to have a quality bench. I wonder if Jermaine Jones can add anything to our current squad, obviously Demarcus Beasley will be off the team, Connor didn't add much, I'm really hoping they add Jones, Edu, and Cooper.

Apparently Jones had some kind of hairline fracture, not sure when he's gonna be available.

There has been talks of McBride coming back to the national team. I'd certainly take him over Casey.

I think bringing back McBride as anything other than a coach kind of takes the wind out of the sails of the younger leaders Donovan and Dempsey...Kenny Cooper is your man! He can handle the ball well, he's on a crap team in the MLS but that shouldn't count against him, he's got 2 goals for the US in only 4 caps, and if anything he's a big dude 6'4 he can help on set peices which is something we have issues with. He has a chance to be our Peter Crouch (except of course with some meat on his bones)
