It was obvious he would fight again, the question was: where, when and against who. Forbes makes a lot of sense and I would be very surprised that he would retire right after that fight as well, count one or two more at least.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
Hatton's got plenty more to give. I second that this is a safe course for him, a safe fight.
This bout is where he can be aggressive, fight his own fight, with little or even no danger of seeing the canvas.
Psycho adjuster this fight... He is only thirty years young with only two losses way outside of a physical beating. He has to clear his head a good 90 days first, and then he should be good to go.
Whatever happened to the talk about Freddie Roach taking Hatton under his wings for a future fight , if ever there will be one? I saw a vid on youtube, I think. If that happens, that'll surely be the trick, that gets him back on track!
Hatton's not done yet. I think a step up in weight will lower his KO ratio, but restore his confidence. Forbes is a great opponent to see what he has left at this juncture. He may very well be shot, but I doubt it.
He still has a punch. He just can't get outta the way of a lot of the ones coming in. If his hearts not in it we will surely find out, as Forbes bring consistent pressure through the round in a fight. An under-trained-Pub-Happy hatton will be quickly identified.
"Floyd needs to inject Xylocaine into his balls to gain the courage to fight Pacquiao."
- and I quote from some random guy on the internet
Hattons lawer has said that the comeback rumours are false. But he has been going to the gmy to keep fit, since when has Hatton kept fit if he aint got a fight lol.I bet the rumour that is false is he's fighting at 147![]()
