Amir Khan is quoted saying that if he was white and had achieved what he'd done he'd be a superstar in Britain. His dad is however disagreeing with him, and Khan might do well in listening to him.

BBC Sport - Amir Khan claims he suffers bigotry, father disagrees

Personally, I think that Khan needs to get his head in gear, and actually focus on what he has achieved already.

Yes, he did well in the Olympics, and yes he is the holder of a world title. However, he did get knocked out in under a minute against Breidis Prescott. Also, some might suggest that he was fortunate to be given the world title fight against Kotelnik (Warren had already dealt with him as part of Gavin Rees' fight..a suggestion for the conspiracy theorists) with others around who merited the shot more. Since Hatton retired Khan is the only one with a boxing pay-per-view deal in the UK. Especially with Froch unable to get a proper TV deal, I think Khan is out of order, and needs his dad to get his ego in check.
