Yeah, he is pretty light, but he's in good shape. He has a hell of a reach and I figure if his trainer Mark Breland can teach him the nuance of the game he'll be ok. He's 24 he's moving on slowly but surely and he's developing...that takes some time.
84" Reach...and seemingly has good power, but I he doesn't know how to box from distance yet.
He was probably talking about Seth 'Mayhem' Mitchell, the former college football player. I don't see it.
Yeah that sounds right...I remember people making a big fuss over Derric Rossy, him being a former football player and all. People need to recognize that you don't HAVE to be a great athlete to be a good boxer, sure it helps, but it also helps if you can fight properly.
I don't see much hope from Monk Foreman either...not a horrible story if he was to hit it big, but I think sons of legends have had really tough pro careers, not unsuccessful but they are judged against their dads and not their current opposition so guys like Marvis Frazier (who was a small heavyweight and couldn't punch very hard) are considered failures when compared to his legend of a father...he had a VERY successful career IMO he's not a great but he had a good solid career
