Yes good for DeGale, the first knockdown was massive, but that's still a completely awful stoppage. Why even give Gonzales a chance to get up if you're going to do that, as Greenbeanz said. Tonnnnnnes of pressure on whoever is reffing the main event tonight, would hate to be that guy and would hate to see a bad stoppage there.

Gonzales didn't look that good when he was stopped, and he was shipping a lot of shots. However, based on the importance of the fight, he should have got a little more time to try and pull it around.
