If Wlad is not injured, his plan is working to a tee. Despite trying to show everyone to the contrary, Fury is getting increasingly frustrated, and I don't know how long he can keep a lid on it. This ain't doing him any favours.
One thing I will say, he's bang on about Eddie Hearn. Cheeky cunt wanting to put him in an 8 rounder cos he's desperate to keep his bill PPV.
If Wlad fights Wilder then he should be stripped.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
"A minor injury." That tells me it won't be a long postponement . It also tells me he hasn't shit himself. And I don't see how Sky's lack of available PPV dates makes any difference. Wlad is the home fighter and the Champion. Sky came on board after the fight was announced , I'm not even sure his earnings are affected if Sky aren't involved. I might be wrong , but that's how I see it.
Good points.
I think Povetkin is to big a fork in the road. I was actually surprised to hear Wilder say last night that he needs to honour his mandatory when asked about Wlad. It was the he's still learning talk and maybe a year down the road stuff that causes the assumptions. He's basically admitting to being a paper champion. I think it would take a shit load of money to get the new and improved Povetkin to step aside for unification but if K-2 and Haymon bucked up he might get the best payday of his life for not fighting.
I also dont think Wilder wants to fight either. All this talk last night in the middle of the fight suggesting he fought the Frenchman to prepare for Povetkin was rubbish. They made the connection because the guy came forward. They left the part out about footwork and the fact that Povetkin does not come forward with his gloves taped to his face.
Oh and the WBC is involved. They live by the code that the end justifies the means. It is to their benefit financially beyond any reasonable doubt that Wilder remains champion. Oh I now that Jose's kid is on record saying that they wont stand in the way of unification but that conflicts with their rule that their champion cannot stay unified. Really the only one rule they do have is that they have no finite rule. They were going to order Stevenson to fight Kovalev 2 years ago but those sanctioning fees are just to good.
Lastly and I'm no lawyer but I cant see that kind of contract holding up in court or in effect prevent Fury from making a living. If it does exist then there would have to be a no escape clause preventing Wlad from fighting someone else prior to Tyson
can this actually be true?
dont get me wrong i have seen some of the hurrendous shit that wlad gets away with in fights, they definately wont allow him to lose no matter what amount of cheating it takes, so i wouldnt put it past them
but can they actually get away with this if its true? isnt it fraud or something?
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
Sky are now toying with the idea of a forth ppv this year and getting this on for Nov 28th..... if Wlad is fit
I doubt that would happen. He's made all those Orgs a shit load of cash and all of them say they would not stand in the way of full unification. Fury could also get in on the cash train w/o throwing a punch. I see they are saying 1 month postponement. Cant see them pulling out a Wilder fight I bet he just fights Fury and then waits on Wilder. Its the belt his brother owned and most likely the only reason the guys not unified already since he was not going to fight Vitali. In a righteous world the guy holding all the other titles save 1 would be the mandatory for that 1 that he does not possess.
