Oh my god....the great calzaghe could have a weakness See, i also see people comment on kessler...how many fights have they seen of him? Im guessing not many.
The great Kostya had a weakness didn't he? 2 in fact...so yes...the Great Calzaghe could have a weakness...but it hasn't been shown to date. He was dropped...but guess what...he got up & he kept fighting & he won.

Exactly my point mate, no ones unbeatable(exception to marciano coz he retired unbeaten).

    Credit that.

I'm a huge Kess fan & I can say that he aint got a shot in hell.

Winky...maybe...but Winky's got to be able to carry the weight & take that heavier punch...so he's to be a question mark in my book.

Tarver...I just don't rate Tarver...but the same goes for Calzaghe that went for Winky...Joe's got to be able to carry the weight & take that heavier punch...& who's to say that he can or can't.

Johnson...Glen Johnson might have had a shot at Light Heavy...but I don't think that he will at 168 because of the prep time.

Roy Jones jr? Please. Next question...

Taylor...too green & I thought that Hopkins beat him the first go round...the second...he maybe did enough to just eke it out. Taylor's been impressive against smaller men...the bigger they are...the harder Taylor finds it to regain his composure.

Sure there's someone out there that can beat Joe...but I don't know of anyone off the top of my head that I would bet on.

I can tell you this much...he'll gut it out no matter what...he always has. When he get's in trouble or his a** touches canvas...it just propels him to further the game & finish the fight or the opponent...you won't have to worry about catching his a** on some stool listening to a ref talk.
How can you say that Kessler has no chance in Hell against Calzaghe?

If I remember right you shifted between Lacy and Calzaghe as whom to be favourite, when they met – but Kessler has no chance in Hell? In your opinion Lacy had about 50% chance of winning against Calzaghe but Kessler has no chance in Hell? Either you are very biased against Kessler or a closet Lacy fan – or you might do not know as much of boxing as you always claim.

-and why do you always try valid your statements about Kessler with saying that you are a big fan of him?

    “I'm a huge Kess fan, BUT….blah blah blah…. losing“

Mundine losing to him or not...ottke lost fights just that the judges didnt see it the same way everyone else did. Had he grown some balls and faced mundine again then he would of lost but he didnt want anything to do with mundine. Could you blame him, a guy who had transfered from rugby league to boxing and was smashing him after only having 10 or so fights.

Mundine would of beat Ottke if they met again?? Kosta would of beat Hatton if they met again, come on dude face it Australian boxers do loose sometimes.

Well...to take a quote out of your book from a day or so back...this is a forum & everyone's entitled to an opinion...lest you break out your little interpool threat again.

    Ooooooooooooooooooooooooh Wacko ARE very scared.

Time & time again I have to explain myself to you (all 8 of you) regarding Jeff Lacy & it just get's old.

I like Lacy...no let me anger you further by saying: I love Jeff Lacy. He's got heart, power, durability, & he turns down no offers...he was 20 fights in & he fought the best SMW in the game...not a buncha has beens...like Kessler fought. Kessler has 3 names on his record that are worth mention.

Count up the mentionables on Lacy's record & then throw in Calzaghe. Lacy has less fights & the more respectful record, dane.

In my opinion Lacy had a 50-50 shot at winning & I stated that it also depended on how JC showed up. Moot point. Joe stomped his ass...just like I said...50/50...that's what that means...one has a chance of winning as does the other if the factors line up correctly.

    Ummmmmmm...because I'm a realistic fan...just like I was with Lacy.

You don't throw some green possible champ into the ring (Lacy or Kessler) with a man who has never been beaten & has fought & destroyed the better opposition.

I mean come the fwock on.

I can say I am a fan & I can also recognize one's flaws...you can not. When everyone started talking about Lacy destroying Calzaghe...I told everyone...it all lies in Lacy's defence...& guess what...he brought forth none & he got cracked.

    IWO...that is idiocy.

Watch Kessler drop his hand after he jabs & hooks. Watch him drop it right to his waist & watch Joe pepper his face like it was a piece of unseasoned meat.

You need to wake up...there's daylight just over the hill. My fellow forum member...you are the one that is biased towards Kessler...he's all you have...night & day....& that is ignorant. That is someone that needs to broaden their horizons & learn a bit more about boxing because when your Danish Viking Warrior is counting lightbulbs...you'll be frantically searching for excuses & a new fighter to brown nose.

I'm a huge Kessler fan...but I aint retarded about it like you are...so if you don't like it...ignore my posts...because from here on out...to me...your's have about as much merit as that of a 4 year old child that is still blind to the realities of the world...so go play with your blocks & leave Wacko the fwock alone.

    Me to!!

The thing is like i said previous if this was Mundine in Calzaghes posistion, he would be seen as the biggest Aussie export since Jason Donavan ( Joeseph and his technicolour dream coat, if anyone is struggling to remember what he has done since neighbours)

Claiming that Mikkel has fought has-beens and Lacy not is a little unfair imo. To me The Sandman, Robin Reid, Omar Sheika and The Jewel were certainly not in their primes when the faced Lacy.

I agree...Pemberton, Reid, Sheika, & Vanderpool were not in their primes...but they are a whole lot better names than the first 20 men that Kessler fought & Winston C Royal needs to deal with that fact!

The first 20 men that Kess fought had almost 174 losses between them. Come on now.

Lacy's first 20 fighters had 99-100 losses total & he then took on the best in the world...fair or not...facts don't lie.

I guess that you are right, but looking at he first ten opponents and counting it seems to be that he Kessler has met the best opinion? The first guy he met had a record of 7 wins with 6 Kos…and only two draws….him Lacy met old guys compared to Michael but I could be wrong….
