I think you're being a little to scepticle of Cotto Wack to be honest. I think Cotto is the better fighter and I think the style favors Miguel Cotto.
Oh tighten up your fuckin panties amat!

    Please.

All I am saying is that Cotto aint a fwockin god & he aint a human terminator...not matter what his fans want to say...& I'm one of em!

Again...let me state that I aint a fan of Judah nor am I buying in to what Judah says...I never listen to him when he starts bumping his gums. The problem with most fans is that they don't broaden their gotdam horizons & factor in the possibilities that there fighter can & will get beaten.
I was just wondering, because I pretty much agreed to the tee. And I know Cotto is no super man, but honestly, this is the Judah that Carlos Baldomir beat and Raphael Pineda got the short end of the stick against. There are a few who I would favor against Cotto, Judah just isn't one of them.

I wouldn't even call myself so much of a Cotto fan as a Judah detractor

But really, I thought his assessment was on point and that's all I was making note of. I know Judah has power and speed, but I don't think he has much of a killer instinct, and really, the only way I see Cotto getting KO'd is if it's with one punch. Which is always a possibility but impossible to predict.

Either way, I assume Zab will do what he's known to do, look good early and then gradually fade and break down. You would think a guy like Zab would be hell on pressure fighters but he's just not, he just mentally breaks down and has too many flaws like pulling straight back with his hands down. Mainly I think its just a mental breakdown though, he just doesn't know what to do when a guy takes his shots and keeps coming. Its not surprising that his best performance was against a slick boxer with no punch. Still I wouldn't be shocked if he stopped Cotto early, I still am not convinced about Cotto's chin and defence, but I'll go with Cotto to break him down, late stoppage.
I pretty much agree, especially about the mental flaws thing. It's amazing, never seen a fighter at such a high level make the mistakes a prospect coming up would make and pay for them on such a regular basis. I know Judah's only lost 4 times, but it seems he's been broke down following the pressure pattern on a regular basis since the Tszyu loss. And that's without really holding the Mayweather fight against him.

I had no problems with his assestment...it's just that, again, I don't see it as a walk in the park for Cotto...that's what I disagree with...not the entire post.

Judah WILL cause Cotto problems with his speed...unless ofcourse, Cotto just wacks him out in the first round.

First of all...this is going to be a great fight.

Second...HBO just goes all out with these "Countdown to's..."

Love the track, love the run downs, all of it...my only problem is that Countdown = PPV.

    WTF?!?!?!

The main difference is that this weekend the winner will be a fighter that doesn't completely 100% suck!

My favorite part of every Zab fight:

Yoel in between rounds, yelling, "Zab, here's what you gotta do, son..... BAM BAM BOOM BOOM BAM BAM BAM BAM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!"

Yeah i agree this could easily be FOTY and i think from the 1st bell we'll see fireworks from both men.
Can't stress enough though that Zab will be like nothing Cotto has faced before so it'll be interesting to see how he deals with Zab's speed.
Huge test for Cotto and we'll see if he really is in the elite come Saturday.
I wouldn't write Judah off though as he's well capable of winning this fight.

I know I'm a little late on the draw here..... But its the same thing over and over when I dissect the variatables....

Cotto is a friggin Monster... He looks fantastic and ripped and well conditioned.. Cotto gets better everytime out, I dont put a ton of stock that he looked bad in the Urkal fight, simply because Oktay is a tough hombre with a head that doubles as a wreckin ball who would give most a difficult time.....

Judah is a slimy little prik who is a fart in the wind and an underachiever if there ever has been one... But he has the goods and ability to be virtuoso on any given night speed, power, quickness and skill... But he has the attention span of a fruit fly and the heart of a squirrel..

I want Cotto to beat his azz into next week, but you cant discount Judah.. Cotto's chin is gonna be tested early and often, will it hold up? lets see..

Cotto is a great guy a humble and respectful warrior that the sport needs and appreciates.... Judah is well Judah he is as desirable as picking dogshit out of the waffle of my shoe May the best man win, I just think it will be a hairy night for Cotto and a potential upset

He looks in shape and got me wondering why all Cotto's videos of him training he is at a slow pace even sparring if he is always like that or just him acting out

Cotto fights at a slower pace, IWO...but...BUT...he is so precise with the majority of what he throws...speed isn't always a factor for him.

    Nice photos also.

This fight is based on 1 punch, Cotto left hook. If it does not land flush, he will walk in to to many straight rights, to many angles from Zab will create a lot of right hook opportunities and the fight for Zab will be much easier than anyone thinks.
