and to jones jr mayweather......yeah calvin brock was way too nice of a guy for boxing...butler on the other hand is not nice and hates every one that he steps in the ring with....his trainer ace miller is actually trying to get him to not be so ruff in the ring. he has had alot of fouls in his fights. ) he is not a big fan of people holding him
mayweather has never really had someone putting extreme pressure on him! you must fight a boxer ! and hatton will not make the mistake of trying to box him!

No you don't have to take it to the champ to win you can outbox him you don't have to go in there all guns blazing Mayweather landed cleaner sharper punches and landed more look at punchstats Oscar fought aggressive but it wasn't really affective aggression i had it 116-113 something like that Oscar was ahead after 8 rounds but he then lost back to back rounds in later stages and lost i think you need to rewatch the fight because Oscar missed whole lot of punches aggression is good thing i normally look for it but it has to be affective aggression and Oscar's aggression wasn't that affective.

i never said "guns blazing" but you have to bring a little fight....running and moving from punches is impressive but should not win fights

You do not have to pressure or come forward if you can win the fight going backwards and outbox your opponent like Mayweather did.

I'd just like to say to the ppl who said Hatton wld have big problems up at 147 because of Collazo they'r a bit mis-informed,Hatton woz training for a fight at 140(cant mind who tho) but then 5 weeks b4 the fighter pulled out and he was presented with an opportunity to fight Collazo instead so u can see his preparation was'nt ideal. Also add into to the fact Collazo is a pretty tricky southpaw who not many would look good against but at the end of the day Hatton got the win!

alonzo b soon to be the chamP!!!!!!
My man, no disrespect but u think that Alonzo Butler is soon to be heavyweight champ. U post that Mayweather does not impress. Alonzo Butler does? Do u really expect to be taken seriously?

I do agree that Mayweather has been on the fortunate side of some decisions. But that's how the ball bounces when it goes to the cards. When 2 guys fight & leave it up to 3 others to give their personal opinion of how they saw the fight, IMO it has to be accepted. Lets not forget about collazo. In the end that's all that history will remember is the win/loss column.

Again, I don't want this post to come across ugly but take everyone's opinion into consideration & u tell me.
    Who's beleiving bullcrap?
cc bro. If he thinks Mayweather got 2 gifts then you gotta believe Hatton lost to Collazo.
although floyd didn't lose to oscar and the first fight with castillo was certainly closer than 115-111...
and hatton could have lost to collazo...but it's ridiculous to say that mayweather isn't impressive...that's short mindedness talking or someone who must have only seen floyd fight the bigger guys...because even if you never give him credit for being great to watch....you'd have to just flat out

"dislike, hate, be blind, or for some reason can explain it, or floyd reminds you of the guy that bullied you or took your girl, or quite possibly insane"

if you say what he did to corrales wasn't impressive...even harold lederman was comparing him to willie pep during that fight...

Oh yeah Alonzo Butler...... yeah just like calvin brock
IMO Calvin would put Alonzo away.

Another statement that I far from agree with. A true professional does not need hate to perform. Hate/anger if not controlled will get u nothing but a beating. Alot of fouls in fights point to not being able to control emotions which in turn gives away all of ur power (mental, technique, etc...) If infact Ace Miller is speaking with him about this it's for a reason. Brute force is minor league. It will only carry u to a certain level. If ur not ready in many other aspects when that time comes it will be a rough night.

There are different levels of "boxers" & PBF's level is a VERY high one. I do agree that not many will match PBF's speed & should probably push the fight. But this is easier said than done when talking about PBF. It cannot be a straight on attack. PBF knows how to counterpunch & work angles. Pressure has been tried on more than 1 occasion but has not been able to be sustained. That's for a reason.

IMO alot of people that say PBF will win are not respecting at Hatton's abiliy. And vice versa. The Hatton backers are not really respecting PBF.

Let's not make the mistake of beleiving that Hatton is only a rough banger. He has very good handspeed & knows the game. And don't beleive that PBF is only a slick/fast counterpuncher with no power. He did'nt KO 24 of 38 by accident.

I did pick PBF to win this fight but it is a great match up that is good for boxing.

And again, kudos to u for supportin ur boy.

Nobody gave Ricky a chance against Kostya, nobody gave Ricky a chance against Castillo.

When he won, both fighters were shot! How old are the current Ring Magazine Champs in each division? 32+ on average at a guess

He is supposed to be one-dimensional, all he can do is hit and hold. 43 times he has got away with doing that

It's a fight I would love to see. Out of anyone left (maybe with the exception of Cotto) I think Hatton has the skills and ferocity to beat Floyd.

if he would have been a man of his word and given collazo the rematch as collazo was the champ..we wouldn't even be talking about PBf v Hatton...because hatton would have "1" in the loss column and floyd would be forced to fight the man he should...Shane Mosley...

The work rate of hatton will be the biggest factor of the fight..

both will land ... mayweather at a higher %

but if hatton is the consistant aggressor and out throws PBF by 20 to 30 shots in atleast 8 or 9 rounds i think ricky can win a decision..

he has to land not just throw..as delahoya clearly threw more punches than floyd..i think 100 more power shots than floyd...hatton will be discouraged from throwing he will eat straight right hands because his guard has always been too low and he doesn't move his head enough while walking in....floyd will expose this like nothing no one has ever seen before...

Ricky is a good fighter but Floyd is a great fighter i just can't see how Ricky can win.

Hatton was going to fight someone at 140 and then at 5 weeks notice i think it was he had to change and make 147 it was his first time at that weight and if he would of had rematch he would of beaten Collazo alot more convincing.
