Boy was I wrong!Ok so dont take stock investment tips from me .
I failed to take into account the time change factor and walked right into the result.Hey look on the bright side I just saved my $$$$ and can fully focus on Juan diaz vs.Julio Diaz.
Evander Holyfield was the first boxer whose entire career I managed to Collect on tape.Everyone and a great deal of the olympic trials Including His tough as hell amatuer bouts with Ricky Womack.all Except This Fight w/Sultan Ibragimov.Thats How it will end fittingly enough. It sort of leaves me wanting and inconclusive.Unfortunatley it sounds like Evander feels the same way, still Wanting more.
Holyfield is my favorite ALL time.Real Deal...ITS OVER man, leave this ring with your head high, pride and legacy unquestioned and most importantly..ABLE TO FORM SENTENCES AND NOT FEEDING THROUGH A TUBE.I need a kleenex Lol. AND a brew!!

The question that this evening's disappointing performance by Holyfield poses to me, is will we finally face up to the fact that the old men in the division will not become stars again as Foreman once did, but rather that we have to look to the future.

Of the current glut of over-40s trying to reclaim their lost youth and part of their former glory, Holyfield was probably the most likely to claim some sort of title glory, with Ibragimov amongst the weakest of the heavyweight champions.

Oliver McCall, Matt Skelton, James Toney, Corrie Sanders, all think that they are not too old to go on to challenge for world honours, but they are all going to fall short somewhere along the line, just like Holyfield did tonight.

The only other thing left, is where is this future of the division?

Didn't get to see the fight but it sounds as though it really is time for Evander to hang up the gloves.

Sultan Ibragimov is a piece of garbage as far as a heavyweight champ goes. So he beat on a 45 year old man and couldnt even knock him out. Holyfield would have killed him in his prime. In fact, Holyfield as a cruiserweight against Sultan as a heavyweight would have killed him too. Evander Holyfield is a boxing legend and one of the greatest champs ever. It's a damn shame he's still fighting at 45 with 9 losses on his record. I hope he retires before he is hurt badly because eventually that's where he is headed. It's scary to think how bad he will sound in a few more years as brain damage can get worse with time. As it is he sounds as bad or worse than Joe Frazier. Shit.
