Looks like Chag is cruising to apoints win . I cant see how Matt can turn it round from here . Matt got hurt on the bell .

Round 9:

Whoever said its ugly is bang on. Skelton with a nice uppercut, then a couple of hooks, and another uppercut. Chagaev throwing and missing, while Skelton lands short shots. Two good hooks from CHagaev, who is certainly the better puncher. Good uppercut from Chagaev, but Skelton retorts with body shots. Rigth hook from Chagaev. Skelton finds gloves with shots as he comes in, but lands a decent uppercut. Chagaev with an uppercut as ref splits them. Great left uppercut from Chagaev, but Skelton not too bothered by it. Another nice left uppercut. Ref warning Chagaev for something, no idea what though. Another straight left from Chagaev. Good right hook, and Sketon returns to the corner.

I give Ruslan the 9th and scored a good flurry in the last 10 secs and Ruslan is just picking matt off.

Matt looking tired . May be age but defo not as strong or fit as the champ at this stage . Matt looks dreary and Chag fancies the stoppage . Good speed and variation by the champ.

Rnd 10 Skelton is getting tired...though Chagaev isn't fresh either...rnd to Chagaev...

Round 10:

Skelton with a couple of jabs. Good left hook from Chagaev. Skelton still looks fairly alert. Skelton pinging ut a jab. but gets caught with a good flurry of hooks, and Skelton covers up on the ropes, covering up nicely. Clinch again, and Skelton's uppercuts on the inside again. Does the referee sayanything except OK and No. Clinch. Chagaev to the body. Nice left hook then a right from CHagaev,but Skelton puts his head down and digs in some hooks of his own. Skelton ships shots when he's going in now. Chagaev with a decent left hand. Chagaev pushed back and takes a few body shots and an upercut. Huge left hook from Chagaev.

Matts looking to survive . He'll do well to last 12 . Not trying to win anymore . Chagaevs hurting him everytime he lands . Chag wants to end it in style but Skeltons ugly style wont allow that .

Round 11:

Cagey opening again, with Chagaev moving forward but not looking to do much. Skelton needs to finish strong if there's anything left. Nice left hookfrom CHagaev who now has much more time to move. Skelton with a jab and straight right, then a clinch and a few body hooks. CHagaev working to the body. Uppercut from Skelton then a hook to the body. Ref splits them again. Good right hand from Skelton again. Skelton deflects a straight left then digs in a right of his own. Uppercut traded on the inside. Skelton warned again for holding behind the head. Chagaev is finding a decent guard there. Body shot from Skelton. Straight left from CHagaev.

Round 12:

Skelton's corner telling him its the best he's ever boxed, and that's too right. Chagaev comes out. Body hooks from Skelton, and then ploughs forward with some decent body hooks. Good right hook then a left from Chagaev. Chagaev with another left. Skelton digging deep and putting in two decent uppercuts. Great right from Skelton, and Chagaev hangs on desperately. Left hook from Chagaev, and Skelton with an uppercut. Chagaev swinging wildly. Left hook from Chagaev. Left hook and an uppercut, then a right to the body from Chagaev. Skelton is done. Brave effort, but he doesn't have it in the tank. And then he puts in a right. Left from Chagaev, but a good right hook from Skelton. Did this guy ever do so rubbish against Sprott? Seems a differnt man. Body shots inside from Skelton. The two men hug. Great fight, scruffy, on the inside, but a brawl.
