nope because unlike those two guys who actually beat some names margarito has beat who? kermit and lost to santos...yeah he deserves a shot....
Winky only beat names, because Shane gave him a shot.

Lets look at beforehand. Before he fought Shane.
Winky beat unproven Candelo. What else... hmmm Small man, Angel Hernandez. A lot of these went to decisions. And he lost to Vargas and Harry S.

Many of these fights were dominant performances, but not without Wright getting a little puffy in the face in the process. So what, he won the fights. No big names on his resume at the time, but he needed one. Just like Margarito, he needed for a prime-time fighter to give him his shot. Turned out, it was Mosley who would give it to him. People didn't think much of Winky back then, because that wasn't a pick'em fight at the time, he was the underdog. It was this chance that gave Winky his time to show what he really was. If he was bad, then all they nay-sayers were right. But as long as he got his shot, he could prove what he had, good or bad.

Hagler is another one. I don't think you know your history, so you can google that story up yourself.
so you're comparing hagler to margarito? i hope not because hagler would have never loss to a guy that finished his career 13-9....like margarito did...and winky needed to get a shot....Margarito has the WBO belt doesn't that count for something? He should have been had better fights unless the WBO doesn't believe in making their fighters fight real contenders because jeeze look at his resume...and when was the last time Margarito loss? last year? or 2004? He can't even hold up his end of the bargin with WBO which is

"we'll give you wack fights, all you have to do is win and then you'll look like someone that's good"

But no he can't even do that...

That tells you what kind of fighter Shane is. He known as a fighter who gives up and comers their shot. He paid for it, but he holds great respect from the boxing community for it.

And this 10 million thing is a total arbitrary number brought up, and created by the Pretty Boy Fans.
Wowy...wer'e gettin a bit bitter in our analyst position aren't we?

10 million is what P4P great Hopkins got...plus part of the PPV draw. Pretty Boy Fans don't make the contracts anymore than Margarito fans know that their man can actually compete with Mayweather.

Also...since your'e quoting history...Winky Wright was a name back then...he was a heavily dodged fighter.
Not sure if you did or did'nt follow junior middle back then...but everyone knew who he was...& they all ran from him.

Winky fought plenty of names & the Simon loss was pretty much a hometown robbery.

The Vargas fight was either a draw or a Wright win...depending on how you look at it. Vasquez beat Wright...so if you give him that loss then that's 1 out of 50...but a loss is a loss & a fact is a fact...everyone that was deep in boxing knew the name of Wright & they all new to stay the hell away from it.

For now its pointless to argue, we can't make fighters fight him. If he can't find a fight here, and he probably won't, he'll just have to move up to 154, fight a Karmazin, or an Ouma.
Actually Zab has mentioned his name He called him Phony Margarito

Or maybe his pops. "Phony Margarito, you gotta pop pop pop him, 1,2,3" (while he spastically threw air punches)

FFS I hope Zab keeps Yoel forever, he might actually improve if he dropped him and we don't want that

No, THAT would be Andre Eason calling Mayweather "Faggot Floyd"

That's better then Ouma's corner of the 3 people shouting condensending and opposite advice to him fight isn't it They blend in so well with the crowd that's where Kassim went in the Karmazin fight. Zab may have danced a few times in his career, but he never went to the opposite corner and started looking for his corner men

no offence to anyone but i honestly wouldn't want to see Magarito fight Floyd, i think it would be a blow-out and far too much hype all along with it....too much juice for such little squeeze.
I wanna see him against Hatton

I'd rather see a Hatton fight too, but a Margarito fight is a good fight if those kind of fights don't come off for Floyd
