They might pull this off! It's beautiful. I should have had more faith. I bought my coffee. Literally wake up and smell the coffee. The EU deserved this, but don't forget how they work. This is not legally binding.
There will be an economic hit, but it could work out very well in the long run. 2 years of negotiation to leave is ominous though. Borders should be closed immediately, but in the short term nothing changes. People should be wary. 48% still voted for tyranny and it's the brainwashed young and Rocco types. Just profoundly stupid people with little understanding of how dangerous they are.
Vaz is on TV now and he seems completely out of touch and deluded. Labour needs to sweep away this kind of idiocy.
Now they are trying to push another referendum....BBC has no shame....![]()
Well, it is very heartening and I feel proud of the Brits for doing this. I knew the word on the street was not like the polls and so I thought the fix was in, but I was clearly wrong on that. The Lib Dem leader is clearly a bit mad. He was on blaming Corbyn for the loss which made no sense to me. He just made the case stronger that there needs to be a nationalist left of center party which is obviously what the core Labour crowd are clamoring for. Hopefully Corbyn can stop straddling the divide now and get all these votes back. It is winnable for Labour if they can just purge all of these strange pro EU weirdo's. The general public clearly wants something and to be honest I don't think it is Tory with 24% of the vote or UKIP with one policy. Put Blair on trial and cement the road to redemption.
The voters here were right. Outside of London it was 60:40 leave and that isn't even close.
Out won!!!!!!!!!!
That is excellent news!
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I honestly wasn't expecting it, I couldn't sleep last night so I watched it all until about 1:30am and then woke up and watched it at 3 and 4am.
They knew that it wasn't going to plan as soon as the Newcastle and Sunderland results came in, as others have said even though it was classed as a massive outsider I don't know anyone who didn't vote to leave.
Great stuff, I just hope that people realise that it'll take a good few years before we see the benifits of it.
Great news we may take a hit for some months , but now we can try to reclaim our national identity without the fat cats in Europe stopping every decision we make.
I see Cameron is ready to step down but article 50 is not going to start until a new PM is in place. That will take months. Corbyn was right to demand it happen ASAP, but Cameron is already starting the stalling process. The EU has a history on these kinds of things. Greece already tried to walk away and failed. Maybe that's the cynic in me, but I have a hard time seeing this play through. Maybe Farage still has a career because as we have seen today there are a lot of establishment figures who are shaking their heads, frowning and spitting on the will of the people. Meanwhile the borders are still open and immigration will accelerate as many will view this as their last chance to get in. This could be very messy.
Even for you Al that is pretty ignorant, dumb and dishonest. If you are willing to substitute immigration with begging then your understanding of history and culture is pretty primitive and regressive. You sound more like a boorish lout than the so called peasants you mock.
Isn't it amazing how the two most outspoken racist and xenophophbic and anti immigrantion posters are immigrants themselves?!!
