    WELL DONE CLINTON

what fight was Micky Vann watching
haha my dad said exactly the same thing.

I told him the guy who gave it to Johnson referees all Hatton's fights and he just goes, "tosser".

Woods was fucking tremendous the other night. You'll very rarely see me invested in a fight so much that I'll be shouting at the tv. I was sitting there shouting, "Go on, Clinton. Get in".

Mum thought I'd gone off the deep end.

It's amazing how much Woods has improved. So pleased for him. Can't be many nicer blokes in the sport. Talk about digging deep. To come back and win 3 on the bounce after the 9th was proper grit.

Depends on which Calzaghe shows up really. He's not exactly the posterboy for consistency. He does generally get himself up for the big fights, though.

Danger for him is underestimating Woods. Judging by his post fight comments, he reckons he's miles ahead of Clinton. That could be his undoing if he goes into the fight with that attitude.

Personally, I'd be cheering Woods on. I think it's fantastic that he has improved so much with age.

I agree though wtf was with the 116-112, what the hell was he watching
You know there's a problem when we expect judges to lean a certain way regardless of the action in the ring

Was thinking the same thing. A world title fight between two world class operators takes second billing to a novice participating in what amounts to a "squash match". Khan took the journeyman out in, what, a minute?

Least the geniuses at ITV saved the best until last.

One of these days someone in the UK will get boxing coverage right.

These channels need real boxing fans to advise them. I mean, Sky miss out on a good percentage of the big fights. Given the minimal coverage of boxing we get, they should at least have the decency to show the big fights from the US. I mean, why not show Toney-Peter live at 4am? It's not like they're worried about ratings at 4am, in a competitive time slot.

after he said Lacy got robbed in the UK
I never said that. No since lying when I've said enuff real stuff to incrimnate me anyhow. I did say Lacy would beat Calzaghe, but he did not, and I did say Mayorga would beat Oscar, and he did not. I also said Cotto would beat Malinaggi, Bernard would defeat Tarver, Mosley would beat Vargas both times, etc. You lot of Brits all cheer and throw it in our faces that Hatton BEAT Collazo, and act like Hatton actually won the fight. You also claim that Calzaghe is unbeatable from 168-175, and Bernard, and Johnson have been dodgin him for years, which is laughable. So, no I don't hate all British fighters, just hate your condescending attitudes about them and their American opponents.
    OK my mistake
i tend to flip past your posts if im honest

so let me get this right your way of fighting these evil brits who claim all this is to post about i robbery of a fight you havent even watched or know nothing about as below...

True, I shouldn't rush to judgement on a fight I had no way of watching, and did not get to see, just Johnson was screwed on that draw against Clinton, and UK judges aren't exactly known for givin foreigners a fair shake. Not that U.S. Judges are any better, aside from the Hatton vs Collazo gift. Now as far as UK fighters I like, well, there aren't many top UK fighters of the recent ones: I hated NAZ, Hate Hatton, Nuetral on Calzaghe but have gotten tired of all the nonsense God like hype around him, grew to respect Lennox Lewis, and I like Scott Harrison. Harrison is not the best at his weight class, but he's a tough gritty SOB. Also I've grown very tired of the "Calzaghe is sooo above all U.S. 168-175 lb fighters, and because he defeated Jeff lacy is now an umbeatable God". So there ya have it Saddo.

All these people getting up for Roy Jones' leftovers is astounding

How great of a champion Woods is Shows you how good he(Woods) truly is, and I wonder how many so called experts who called Woods "just another bum" feel years later when he's champ and just defeated Glen Johnson.

Of course they are going to say Glen peaked when he beat Roy and Tarver And that Woods got him late

Old Roy Jones is still enuff to beat Joe Calzaghe. That's all I know. Did you see what Roy did to Clinton Woods a few years back?
