    Yeah ... good call Scrap.

Schmeling was one of the good guys, wasn't he. He persisted with his Jewish manager even through the Nazi years. Never joined the Party. Iron Cross for gallantry during the Crete landings with an elite paratrooper regiment, that eh did not volunteer for. After the war, became a successful businessman with Coca-Cola and ended up paying Joe Louis's hospital bills years later.

A lot of these fights listed were one sided quick knockouts, one that always comes to mind for me is Big John Tate beating on Mike Weaver for 15 rds for the heavyweight title and then Mike Weaver knocking him out cold in the final minute of the fight. It's been a long time but I think it was a right hook to Tates ear which laid him out face first bleeding from the ear and not moving.

Just thought of another 1 . . . Andres Galfi vs Glen Catley

Glen got caught and was disorientated . Turned round to face his corner, gave his team a smile then ran towards the opposite corner and head butted the turnbuckle . . . obviously the ref had to step in at this point

I bet he was embarrassed watching that back . He got revenge though

I'm sure some of these must have been mentioned, but:

RJJ v. Glen Kelly (chicken wing, anyone?)
    RJJ v. Bryant Brannon
    RJJ v. Montell Griffin
Sam Peter v. James Toney II
    McCall v. Lewis II
    Bruno v. Tyson II
    Holyfield v. Tyson I
Seldon v. Tyson (who am I kidding, I've never seen a guy happier to lose)
    Oops

You have this wrong, it was not Floyd Patterson, it was Ernie Terrell

"What's my name, fool? What's my name?"
What Ali kept yelling while winning a 1967 decision against Ernie Terrell, who had insisted on calling him Cassius Clay.
    Muhammad Ali

Tyson vs. Golota - Andrew just took his ball and went home.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

That wasn't Floyd whom he did that to.
    That was "Ernest" Terrell.
