This is so exciting, the Baggins Clan look resplendent in their new costumes
I'd like to see the Old Guard and Violent Squad top this.
When we have our sig we'll be unstoppable![]()

Great stuff Miles, now you finally look the part.
Donny, don't feel bad if you can't join I understand.
Although as I understand it, according to JT Rock, the 'Old Guard' arn't a clan at all but merely a group of veteran individuals striving to uphold the traditions of Saddo's.
As a longtime poster myself, along with Miles and Dizaster, the Baggins Clan also believes such values are to be desired and would seek ourselves to conduct our clan affairs with restrained dignity and with respect for Saddo traditions, affirming every member to be valuable in the eyes of Saddo.
You could become a member of Clan Baggins without comprimsing your committment to the Saddo Way.
I'm sure the Old Guard would understand, as after all they are above such petty jealousies and sqaubbles.........
I desperately want to buy a copy of that!!! I had all of the regular editions when they all came out, but I one day saw The Return of the King extended edition and had to buy it... After watching it right through, the extra scenes add much more than just the extra 30 minutes or so of viewing time.. It gives more depth... That was years ago now, and i've been dieing to get the other 2 extended editions.. Just 3 weeks ago I found The Two Towers extended and bought that... Havn't watched it yet though as I reallllllly want to get Fellowship extended and watch them in order....
Even for a real purist as Bilbo said, looking at the entirety of the books, and how well Jackson did to fulfill the huge vision and scope that the books had, it's really hard to imagine it being much better than how they turned out...
Some people complained about how a lot of the tradition was presented as "Old English/Celtic" when there isn't any mention of such in the book..
But I think it was a great way to really give the scenes in the movie a deep tradition through that celtic image...
Again the only one confused here is you
Take heart though I typed it real slow this time so you can understand... Gee elitists huh? I dont know how.. We have no hierachy we are a mutual group owned by its members... and of Course the ONLY group endorsed by Saddo himself... Also we are the only group that dosent take our dog and pony show on the main board... We are dignified in our attitiude and appearance
Ok.
1) No Hierarchy, other than you need 1000 posts and 18 months membership to be considered. Anybody else is NOT welcome. That's a pretty elitist heirachry if you ask me.
2) Endorsed by Saddo? I presume by this you are referring to his 'nice idea' post in the Old Guard Thread. A full endorsment indeed.
3) Dog and Pony Show on the main board, JT no Clan Baggins member ever posts in any of the Boxing boards, you should really know this by now. We exist only in the hidden forums, plus we are still saving for a pony.
Sorry Bilbo, I forgot to mention.. I took my Baggins Clan Jack Russell out for a quick run in Boxing Talk earlier this morning... It was like, 5am and didn't think anyone would notice...
I've learnt from my mistake now though..He likes to run around in here anyway and no one seems to mind that he poops everywhere..
Ive chosen to accept the role of Gandalf because its good to be able to transform into a wizard every now and then. Simple as. I like old guard and Im all for it too. I think ideologically I am an old school Saddonian and have a lot in common with other long time members. I wouldnt mind being a member of both actually but was won over by a fond interest in taking on the wise old Gandalf persona. He has magical powers and all that sort of thing. And seems pretty wise. Maybe as I begin to fit into the character interesting things may happen.
