Man and boy fight if ever there was one.

I'm not surprised Mitchell lost but shocked he folded so tamely. He looked chinny. Clueless/shitting it when Kats got on the inside. Graham Earl gave him a better fight than that for fucks sake

Cant believe the Khan fight is still hours away. I'm off to get a double cheeseburger and large fries, Brb.

Yeah i'm disappointed. He didn't look strong or confident whatsoever. He needed to ride out the first 6 or so rounds, but he looked like folding as soon as Katsidis put it on him.

Na it didnt cause a stir at all here. Boxing barely ever gets a mention in the media here. Might get a mention on dedicated sports channels but not in the mainstream media.

I think the whole occasion got to him. He wasn't ready or able to handle headlining a big bill like that. Just throwing his jab he looked tight.

If Katsidis sparked him in a tear-up i could understand it, but to fold from the first solid left hook... very disappointing

He looked a bit scared to me aswell. Noticed it when Katsidis was in the ring before the introductions. I thought he'd put up more resistance than that.

I honestly thought Mitchell would have a great chance against Khan

Having seen that it would have been Khan KO 1.

I said in the chat that during the after fight interview Mitchell reminded me of Steve Molitor in the Caballero fight. He didn't seem to have any faith in himself. Almost like he went into the ring expecting to lose.

Mitchell would get absolutely destroyed by Khan, no doubt. Even John Murray, who I'm a big fan of, he would lay a battering on Mitchell for sure. I would be over the moon to see a Murray Katsidis fight man. Thats what i'm gonna be hoping for for the next couple of years man. Its a "To Hell And Back" fight if you ever had to pick one.

He was deffo caught like a dear in the headlights tonite, he looked like he had lost it before the first bell, I just thought Kats would walk through him, people over rated his Prescott win me included at first, but in reality anyone outboxs Prescott who has half decent skills and discipline.

Warren's face was a picture aswell after the fight! Feel for Kev but I think he needed some better level of opponent his record for someone with 31 wins is worst than the likes of Hatton at the same stage and we no how bad his was.

I think the next fight should be Murray v Mitchell I said Murray would be to strong for Mitchell I deffo think so now at 135, Murray would walk through him and stop him around the 9th.

I just think Mitchell is a nice boxer with ok pop at a certain level not powerful enough or not good enough boxer at World Class level.

Right on. I think it would be a decent match-up. You know my like for Murray Skel. Murray snatches the life out of Mitchell inside 9.....

I really like Katsidis in and out of the ring. He was in fantastic shape fair play to him. Mitchell will come back and hopefully better. European level iss as far as it's going to go for him though imo

Katsidis looked very confident and rightly so. He was getting in Mitchell's face as he came into the ring, and Mitchell wouldn't lock eyes with him, similar to Danny Williams not locking eyes with Chisora. Mitchell boxed well on the outside but just couldn't cope when things got close up, and took some big shots, which we know Katsidis has. It looked like they hadn't made a plan for what he would do if he got rattled, because he was pawing at Katsidis instead of trying to clinch, and probably should have taken a knee to recover himself.

As Big H said, European level should be good for him.

I'm a big fan of Campbell, but I think Ortiz will stop him at this point in his career.
You know it always seems like just when people are about to count Nate Campbell out he comes back with a win.
