The judge who had it 114-112 for Dib must have been watching a different fight.
The other two had it 114-112 the other way so I guess they were all way off. Take away the point deduction and they had it a 1 point fight.
I thought Gradovich should have won by a score of 116-111 or something similar, I didn't see the fight being that close in the later rounds.
I saw it closer and again real tough rounds to score starting mid way and later with the wrestling but I have no issues with Gradovich winning. Apparently Dib collapsed in the dressing room and was rushed to the hospital on oxygen.
I hope Dib is OK, it was a tough fight from start to finish. They both took an ass kicking in a real close fight but Gradovich did enough to get the win.
The scores for Gradovich were good and the right guy did win. I'm glad I wasn't judging that fight because I was thinking it could go either way.
Teddy knows boxing and I enjoy listening to him but he is a terrible judge.
As far as I'm concerned Facebook judging is a flop. They play follow the leader too much.
The fact that they are now quoting face book as some kind of gauge makes me want to hurl. Its like compubox punch stats scored by some staffer with a clicker.

Good stuff! This is another case where I think the '10 point must' is faulty. It leads to manuvering numbers. Maybe I'm missing something. Keep it literal..both start at 10 and you deduct accordingly. Judges just need to decide a round, not play mathematical charades.

I had Dib in rounds 1,2,3,9 and Gradovich in 4,5,6,7,10,11,12...8th at 9-8 Gradovich. 115-111

It was a nice fight. People have to remember we're talking about a still raw in your face Gradovich who has been no where near a high level match combined with what has to be one of the ugliest styles brought by Dib. Awkward, scatter legged head butting Dib so you get some mauling, blood and chaos. Massive contrast in styles. I don't want them pretty, I just want them exciting and thats what we got to see.

The referee was between a rock and a hard spot in this fight. He wasn't up to the task of controlling these two, but he tried.
Both fighters were using the same rough house methods so the referee backed off and let the fight happen.
It was ugly and bloody with both fighters taking too many punches, but I'd take this fight over a Ward vs Dawson or Wlad vs Thompson any day of the week.
I enjoyed this little war from the top of my head right down to the tips of my toes. Reminded me of a Gatti fight at times. I would bet that most of the fans enjoyed it too.
An eyesore? Maybe, but I enjoyed the fuck out of it.
It was a lot more like an Andre Ward fight than a Gatti Ward fight thats for sure.

Neither man could hurt the other until Dib was exhausted and got rocked some down the stretch.

It wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
