Corruption has got nothing to do with it.

I want to see screenshot/picture of the wrist
Alex Arthur was Just asked "would you fight with on with a broken wrist?' he said "I would of fought the rest of the fight with two broken wrists for a world title"
It was that unbelievable its not ridiculous to think there might be corruption involved..Ricky Burns at home against someone who was outclassing him .....Money, Bets, corrupt Judges as we saw in the fight before ..and we see time and time again ...Its not impossible the guy was whispered into his ear ... Did he even complain about the wrist during the fight?
He's trying to save face by saying its his wrist. The tank was empty and he had two flat tires under him. And on top of that his wrist could be broken from landing those wide shots on the side of Ricky's titanium skull.I mean you could see that even in the seventh round where he gave his last ditch effort. You could tell he was spent went he walked to the corner and thoroughly discouraged.
Whether is wrist is broken or not is irrelevant. Just makes him look stupid.
Gonzales tried to knock Burns out for 6 rounds. Why would he take the risk of beating the man he had been paid to quit against ? If he had bigger cojones he could make a big noise in the division. Power in both hands and good technique. There was no corruption.
Also how anybody can watch that and think that Burns would run from anybody is beyond me.
I don't know if he complained. I was not in his corner and my Spanish is rather pedestrian. Who cares if he was at home and getting outclassed early. Did you watch the fight or just put the tin foil hat on before it started? They had three judges from the States and an American ref.
Gonzalez was cruising the fight up untill the 7th where he fucked up Ricky... and Ricky managed to land his 1st punch of the fight..he didnt need anything in the tank to win ..just stay on his toes and jab with his good hand ...
It seems too stupid for me that any boxer in that situation would quit ...unless he was told somebody will kill his family if he don't quit ...or being a poor man could of took a bribe ...who knows

He had no legs after rd 7 under him. That was obvious to me and he most likely would have been stopped. He's a fringe contender that nobody has heard about with a 22/0 17 ko record and I'm sure they went for the Rtd instead of being tko'd. It was most likely a business decision.
Dude watch the fight, dudes legs were gone, has a bully type mentality, never been with a dude who took his best shots and was still coming. Take a bribe to throw a title fight that monetary wise is peanuts to winning a belt and becoming a star in a boxing crazed nation like puerto rico and making a shit ton of money...hmmmm.
Ricky Burns has the heart and the mindset of a champion.
Gonzalez has long arms and he's well-schooled, but sometimes that's not enough.
In round 7, Gonzalez ran into the stone wall of Ricky Burns determination to win, and couldn't get through it.
I do understand what a lot of you are saying, I don't know I just think he might have been able to carry on. It's tough to say really, I wouldn't mind watching it again.
