Toney suffered the same fate as one of his peers, Bernard Hopkins. B-hop got jobbed in BOTH the Taylor fights becus Taylor was the young up and comer, like Peter. It's fukin Bullshit! But in the long run things even out, since Bernard and James are both Legends, and Taylor and Peter are the flavor of the month. And will never achieve half of what Bernard and James have.

    Oh please.

Hopkins won the first fight...I'll give you that...but Peter was the aggressor in the fight & he landed the harder shots.

    Toney lost a close fight...he wasn't robbed.

To me it only seems like a robbery because of the huge point spread (and because Sam Peter sprinted to the dressing room). If they had Peter winning by slimmer margin I don't see a reason to complain at all.

    HOO-RAH!
Peter wasn't even close to winning. This is just as bad as why Jermain Taylor got the nod to Bernard Hopkins. It shows how many don't respect the older fighters even when they win.
I agree that Tony was robbed, but I still say that Taylor won against hopkins.

True, although I say that Hop beat Taylor, I think that Toney's fight versus Peter was an even more convincing defeat. Hop fooled around a little, kind of like he had "overestimated" De La Hoya before knocking him out. From what I saw about a week ago, Toney landed way more shots. Peter did have his one or two slow, hard punching rallies, but what did he win 3,4,5 rounds at the most.

Toney had Peter eating so many punches!! Peter was FROZEN stiff.

Agreed. Peter could only unleash when off curfew and still eat a majority of punches...

    A silly decision...
