watched vacancy & i really enjoyed it, the film seemed to work, well for me anyway couple of moments made me uneasy, especially when they were in the tunnel

I've seen Emily Rose before....that is more interesting to me than scary but that's probably because I majored in Psychology and it pits science against the supernatural...it's a great movie. Not as scary as The Exorcist though....but what is.

30 Days of Night is ok....it wasn't great but it was ok...a little different for a vampire movie....very original idea though.

I haven't seen the others you have listed but I reccomend Emily Rose out of those and then 30 Days of Night.

Agreed on Seven. The scene where they find that guy in a room tied to the bed spooked the hell out of me.

There are alot of good ones mentioned on here but the one that scrared me when when I was in my early teens was Salem's Lot.Look at this creepy scene where the vampire boy is floating outside the window.

The original OMen...Something about that kid...Especially the part where the Nanny hangs herself after calling out

"Damien, Damien it's all for you Damien" then jumps off the balcony...The kid looks at her with the evil little smile of satisfaction

seven is not only scary but one of the best films ever made in my opinion
