These people can/will breed.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
There are alot of skeptics that doubt darwins theory of skulls found that showed evidence of ape/human design.
Some dont believe in God
Some dont believe in evolution
Im the latter.
I do hope we all live forever though and end up living in paradise flying around each other.
Doesnt do any harm in believing there could be another life after this?
Either way, that wont stop me from enjoying this life and when im buried hopefully i get a recall.
Let me clarify, I'm not saying evolution did not happen. I'm just saying it has yet to explain all the unique species on life. To tie it in with God, even if evolution becomes fact it does not negate faith. The perspective of many Christians is humans were created with things nothing else was. Science and religion are not in conflict. The theories on man keep changing. Certain ape like species that man was originally thought to have evolved from where now found to be living alongside man. That has made science go back to the drawing board. Many of us believe much in the bible is allegory. The bible is not a science book, I'm not telling anyone to believe in the bible, I'm just discussing the origins of this post. I have said several times evolution does not conflict with the Christian faith. We were just given something other species have not. If you don't feel we were given things other species have not, fine.
I should say evolution, or so to speak, has been observed at the micro level. That might suggest it happens at the macro level. It is shown evolution does happen within a species. Not long ago the average height for a human was five five. Today it is not. Some some evidence of evolution is there. What is not scientific fact is evolution of life from the primordial ooze. I like to look at all sides of a discussion even though I am debating myself at the moment.

For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
That's hilarious![]()
But this is where the conversation ends up where it started. Evolution is a fact. Like gravity. It really matters not whether you believe in it or not. The question here really is how much of a role did it play in our development and did something else get involved. I mean "do you believe in God" really means what is the origin of life. For example, perhaps God intervened right about the time we jumped out of the tree. There are all kinds of holes in evolution and avenues unexplained. I wonder why he/she/it made the dolphin brain so big? Those things cant even walk let alone handle a table saw or climb a tree. Yet their cerebral cortex is much larger then ours in relationship to body weight.
I can go along with something else being involved. I mean just the complexity of language and the earth being so damn intricate. Like a single organism. I mean if one really thinks about it the mathematical odds of all of this happening by random chance are really no different then the stories told in religion or specifically Christian. Both are dogmatic and fundamentalist and discussions more often then not generate heat and very little light whatsoever.
I dont believe that at 4 a.m. x billion years ago we crawled out on shore from some Amino acid organic soup.
Nor do I believe that a creator or designer if it exists resembles in any way shape or form the one that is described in the bible or its fundamentalist followers. That God seems to be a man made invention speaking of design.
Btw watching a doc presently called the Lost Gospels.
Interesting.
Valid points. Once again I am not trying to preach I just want to address something you referred to. The bible doesn't explain God so to speak. It does attempt to explain Christ, who was part of God but it says over and over our minds can not understand God. None of us claim to be able to understand in its entirety, just bits and pieces. Evolution takes an act of faith to believe in. As I said aspects of it can be observed but not once species evolving into another. Gravity can be explained mathematically so it can be tested but the equation Newton developed was changed by Einstein and Einstein's are now the accepted where Newtons were for hundreds of years.Recently science has found gravity does not act the same in quantum mechanics, once again throwing a wrench in accepted science. Evolution at its core is both fact and theory, using it to explain the start of life can not be proven.
The only reason Christians countenance evolution is because once again it jumped on its heels and changed the goalposts. It's like the Catholic church suddenly getting into the telescope fad. 'Ooh, we can be hip too'. Half of America statistically denies evolution even exists. And yes, VC, that is supported by polls of your very own populace, so don't get all defensive at the foreigner being critical. Unfortunately, idiots appear to be breeding and immigration checks allow anyone in regardless of rationality, and so even in the UK you have the number of evidence deniers increasing rather than going away. It is a problem.
Ha, that's a very funny chart. Also, GB made me laugh earlier in the thread too. You can't beat a God thread to bring out the absurdity which all fine comedy is at heart.
I don't believe in god
