I didn’t realize that it got postponed. I am also picking Smith. I think he gets to Alvarez.
I’ve just never been high on Alvarez. He caught a shot Kovalev but was losing up until then and then got beat easily by a shot Kovalev. Before and after those fights I haven’t been impressed either.
Smith is by no means great, but he has shown that his power is fight changing and I think that Alvarez will quickly fight hesitant and lose because of it.
This really does have fun fight written all over it. I like the pop and pressure from Joe as a fighter and at times Alvarez seems 36 going on 46. But I have to lean towards Alvarez who looked good dissecting an admittingly green Seals last out. Kovalev got him but have to think he'll be the technical boxer this time around vs the onrushing Smith. Then again Smith is an ever present danger from opening to close and still has the massive brass he showed fighting on with a broken jaw a few years ago. I'll change my mind in the morning
Definitely feels like their styles will gel, which will now have the opposite effect and be a shit fight
Think I'm edging towards Alvarez for the victory, possibly by stoppage, but it really wouldn't be a surprise if Smith got him out of there either.
It seams everybody on this thread brag Smith power, as it should be, but Alvarez power is no joke either:

Looks like this is ESPN+ rather than reg channel . I will say this it streams ten times quicker and cleaner than DAZN, at least locally.
No idea what's up with the FOX card? Showing a 11pm start time here on FS1..but just stumbled into the Fundora vs Gallimore result. Local FOX here is re airing the Saints super bowl win from 2010. What the fark is going on.
I quite like this 8-3-2 Clay Collard who has been on a run of beating up undefeated guys since boxing 'returned'. Type of guy who knows his level but is getting a mini story out of it. A regular dude went from being homeless to mma then boxing. Pretty awkward style, not Hamed awkward but still unique and far skilled above his numbers.

Julian Hammer hands Rodriquez annihilates 13-0 Anthony Laureano in the 1st. Then looks at him greatly disappointed. He's got a point ya know
Man they have made Smith Jr out to be Thanos himself with this lead in . This should be good
Joe loading up on absolutely everything. Bit sloppy slappy but bulling in. Alvarez uses that shoulder block rush to offset him then winds counter, better than any jab.
Series of 5 Smith left hooks up and down, blocked a bit but he moves Alvarez. Joe looks like he trains old school Foreman style..flip those tires, drag that car down the road. Alvarez long way to go keeping this defense
Round 3 Smith. Trying to keep up with double hurricanes coming our way and making Pico de gallo
