I'm so sick of this guy!
I just read a post by Danny G saying he was protesting loudly when Calzaghe swivelled his hips behind a bent over Hopkins.

I thought it was distasteful, but where does Stallone get off thinking he has any right to take a moral high ground in this sprt.

He made millions of Rocky impersonating a fighter, then he used the Contender to ignite his floundering career and then he acts like he knows something about boxing?

What the hell does Sylvester Stallone know about boxing?

He had ample opportunity to train in the sprt if he wante to, but he decided to make multiple sequels portraying a fighter in movies, making money from boxing without getting involved.

THEN! he starts telling professional boxers how they should conduct themselves in real fights!!!!

He's such a spastic!

I wonder if Stallone would appreciate me commenting around him on movie making and acting like I`m in the know. I bet he`d laugh and just think `another wannabe fanboy pretending`, kinda how I think every time I hear him talk boxing.

And I ain`t watching another Rocky movie, unless of course he decides to fight Godzilla, then I`m in.

Okay first of all I'm going to admit that I'm a huge fan of the Rocky films... I grew up with them. I know they are totally unrealistic but hey they're movies not documentaries. I remember kids from my school coming to the boxing gym after Rocky had been on the TV... thinking they just had to turn up put the gloves on and become a hero.... maybe 1 out of the 10 stayed more than 1 session... LOL.

Give Stallone his due he reated a cult hero in Rocky movies and some great characters - Micky is a guy yu have to love and MR T as Clubber... great. He managed to create excitement and pull at the heart strings so fair play.


I haven't seen his comments on JC - did he make them seriously or did he have a mic shoved in his face and just blurted something out ?
