Here, I think Kirk has this

Therapists say there's been a rise in anxiety stemming from the country's politics, and it is being called "Trump Anxiety Disorder."

A report from CBC News in Canada says that since President Trump was elected, mental health professionals in the United States have seen an increase in patients whose stress has come from politics.

A prevalent "symptom" of the "disorder" is feeling as though the world is going to end.

Trump had a joint presser with Putin and he wasn't a complete asshole to Putin so therefore he MUST be in cahoots I mean the last guy only said "hey tell Vladimir Putin that I'll have more flexibility after the election" but he oooh Obama was SOOOOOO tough on Putin ....it's Russia, we've not always been great friends, we HAVE always kept the lines of communication open so as not to start a nuclear war, but apparently the times and expectations change. Apparently SOME people want Trump to dress down Putin in front of the entire world thinking what would happen? I'm curious....what do YOU think would happen if that was done? Think it would be a GOOD thing or a BAD thing? Think Putin would be more or less willing to cooperate after being put in his place in front of the entire world?

Burning a bridge in such a manner is naive, idiotic, and it hampers future prospects of cooperation and respect....but I suppose you know what you're doing.

Donald Trump has played hardball with cutthroat business types and politicians before he'll be just fine. Hell he reworked our trade deals with the EU and it seemed like all he had to do was ASK....he ASKED and shit got done in our favor....the optics of that are damning for the likes of Obama and W and HW and Clinton.

NYT Publisher Complains to Trump About ‘Potential’ Violence Against Journalists – Ignores Over 500 Violent Attacks on Trump Supporters
    https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/201...mp-supporters/
There have been over 538 violent attacks against Trump supporters since the 2016 election season.

On Sunday New York Times publisher A.G. Sulzberger complained to President Trump about “potential” violence against reporters. The New York Times has ignored the hundreds of violent attacks against Trump supporters.

He couldn't get out of sending missiles to Poland, though he tried. Giving weapons to Ukraine was a deal to prevent them giving any information they had on Manfort to the Mueller investigation. And the sanctions on Russia passed congress with massive bipartisan majorities, basically two or three people in total voted against them. They then sat on Trunp's desk for months, he refused to sign them and had to be forced into it. And he's doing his best to fuck NATO up even according to Republican foreign policy people. They're furious at him. The GOP in both houses is putting together a bill saying that congress has any final say if Trump tries to withdraw from NATO.

We've already been through the press conference. The GOP reaction speaks for itself.

And he hasn't reworked any trade deal with the EU. There's been no change at all to anything other than changes necessitated by his tariffs. The EU chief had to come over with a bunch of cartoon cards to explain trade to him. The man is a fucking moron and that's not my words, that's his own Secretary of State, Chief Economic Advosor, Chief of staff's description.

European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker reportedly used colorful cue cards to explain issues of global-trade policy to President Donald Trump during their meeting earlier this week.
According to a report from the Wall Street Journal on Thursday evening, Juncker and his team used the cards to simplify complex issues for the president as a means of getting their points across as effectively as possible.
The Journal’s report says Juncker “flipped through” more than a dozen cards, which had minimal information on them, and all focused on a single issue. These included the automotive trade, and regulatory standards for medicines, the report added, saying that there were a maximum of three figures per card.
“We knew this wasn’t an academic seminar,” a senior EU official who was at the meeting told the Wall Street Journal. “It had to be very simple.”

WSJ site won't let me in for some reason. When it does I'll post the ariticle, it's fucking embarrasing.

And do you realise what Trump has proposed to the EU is a new enhanced version of TTIP, the treaty you and Trunp were railing against back in 2016? The globalist version of NAFTA that would cost more American jobs? Now it's a good thing and it's evidence that Trump is doing what he said he would? Do you want to see what you were saying about a free trade agreement with Europe back in 2016?

One thing we've heard quite a lot from Trump and the Trump teamis that ehre was no collusion with Russia.

    No collusion. Definitely no collusion.

Now Cohen is flipping they don't seem quite so certain.

    The latest:

Rudy: Trump Is Innocent Because He Did Not Personally Hack Democratic Emails

The whole article is worth a read, even if you just watch the video of Manfort denying Russian involvement back in 2016. It's not the most believable denial you've ever seen, is it?

We've expanded our market and our produced goods aren't getting smashed by tariffs and that's a FAIL to you? OK sounds legit.

There were no reasons at all for Donald Fredovich not to sign the sanctions. Even when he ran out of road and was forced to sign the bill he refused to implement the sanctions:

Congress started a bipartisan showdown with the White House over Russia sanctions this summer, and it looks like Congress just lost.
President Trump won't be implementing Russia sanctions that Congress basically forced him to sign into law this year. It's unclear whether Trump is breaking the law in his decision, but legal experts say he'll probably never have to implement them if he doesn't want to. Congress doesn't have a lot of viable options to force the president's hand on foreign policy — other than incredibly confrontational ones such as suing or impeaching him.

    [...]

Over the summer, almost everyone in Congress made it clear that they don't trust Trump to get tough on Russia on his own. That's why they passed these sanctions in the first place, by a veto-proof majority.
But six months later, Republicans in Congress don't seem keen on picking another fight with Trump over Russia. And even if they wanted to, they wouldn't have a lot of viable options. Which means that if Trump is ignoring the law, he'll probably get away with it.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.e54c7a0c1ea4

WASHINGTON – The Trump administration has decided not to punish anybody for now under new sanctions retaliating for Russia's election-meddling, the State Department said Monday, in a surprising move that fueled further questions about whether President Donald Trump is too soft on Moscow.

The government had until Monday to take two steps under a law passed by Congress last year in the wake of the 2016 presidential campaign. The first required the U.S. to slap sanctions on anyone doing "significant" business with people linked to Russia's defense and intelligence agencies, using a blacklist the U.S. released in October. The second required the administration to publish a list of Russian "political figures and oligarchs" who have grown rich under President Vladimir Putin.

On the first item, the administration decided it didn't need to penalize anyone, even though several countries have had multibillion-dollar arms deals with Russia in the works. State Department officials said the threat of sanctions had been deterrent enough, and that "sanctions on specific entities or individuals will not need to be imposed."

The GOP are putting together a bipartisan bill to stop Trump withdrawing from NATO or making any changes to the alliance.

    https://www.defensenews.com/congress...ut-senates-ok/

And NATO nations haven't altered anything because of anything Trump said.

When you're talking about a no tariff deal between America and Europe you're describing TTIP. American goods aren't currently getting "smashed by tariffs" anywhere. 95% of most goods from America to the EU or the other way round have a tariff of less than two percent. US cars into the EU have a massive tariff but that's because the US blocked the EU from their lucrative truck market with a massive tariff. The EU would be happy to scrap tariffs on US cars because nobody wants to buyy them anyway, they're never going to sell for a whole bunch of reasons. They don't sell in Japan for similar reasons, you can read why here.

    https://www.theatlantic.com/business...-japan/544991/

If both sides end those tariffs it's a huge win for the EU. Even the TTIP didn't go that far. Somebody will explain it to Trump with some cue cards and he'll forget about it till it drops off his shelf. Can you remember what you were saying about globalist trade deals two years ago? That's a stupid question Kirkland. It could have been last week and it would have already dropped off the shelf.

U.S. spy agencies: North Korea is working on new missiles

U.S. spy agencies are seeing signs that North Korea is constructing new missiles at a factory that produced the country’s first intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of reaching the United States, according to officials familiar with the intelligence.
Newly obtained evidence, including satellite photos taken in recent weeks, indicates that work is underway on at least one and possibly two liquid-fueled ICBMs at a large research facility in Sanumdong, on the outskirts of Pyongyang, according to the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe classified intelligence.
The findings are the latest to show ongoing activity inside North Korea’s nuclear and missile facilities at a time when the country’s leaders are engaged in arms talks with the United States. The new intelligence does not suggest an expansion of North Korea’s capabilities but shows that work on advanced weapons is continuing weeks after President Trump declared in a Twitter posting that Pyongyang was “no longer a Nuclear Threat.”
The reports about new missile construction come after recent revelations about a suspected uranium-enrichment facility, called Kangson, that North Korea is operating in secret. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo acknowledged during Senate testimony last week that North Korean factories “continue to produce fissile material” used in making nuclear weapons. He declined to say whether Pyongyang is building new missiles.

Newest U.S. Strategy in Afghanistan Mirrors Past Plans for Retreat

The Trump administration is urging American-backed Afghan troops to retreat from sparsely populated areas of the country, officials said, all but ensuring the Taliban will remain in control of vast stretches of the country. The approach is outlined in a previously undisclosed part of the war strategy that President Trump announced last year, according to three officials who described the documents to The New York Times on the condition of anonymity. It is meant to protect military forces from attacks at isolated and vulnerable outposts, and focuses on protecting cities such as Kabul, the capital, and other population centers.
The withdrawal resembles strategies embraced by both the Bush and Obama administrations that have started and stuttered over the nearly 17-year war. It will effectively ensure that the Taliban and other insurgent groups will hold on to territory that they have already seized, leaving the government in Kabul to safeguard the capital and cities such as Kandahar, Kunduz, Mazar-i-Sharif and Jalalabad.

When he announced his new war strategy last year, Mr. Trump declared that Taliban and Islamic State insurgents in Afghanistan “need to know they have nowhere to hide, that no place is beyond the reach of American might and American arms.”

Trump Administration Mulls a Unilateral Tax Cut for the Rich

The Trump administration is considering bypassing Congress to grant a $100 billion tax cut mainly to the wealthy, a legally tenuous maneuver that would cut capital gains taxation and fulfill a long-held ambition of many investors and conservatives.Steven Mnuchin, the Treasury secretary, said in an interview on the sidelines of the Group of 20 summit meeting in Argentina this month that his department was studying whether it could use its regulatory powers to allow Americans to account for inflation in determining capital gains tax liabilities. The Treasury Department could change the definition of “cost” for calculating capital gains, allowing taxpayers to adjust the initial value of an asset, such as a home or a share of stock, for inflation when it sells.

Capital gains taxes are overwhelmingly paid by high earners, and they were untouched in the $1.5 trillion tax law that Mr. Trump signed last year. Independent analyses suggest that more than 97 percent of the benefits of indexing capital gains for inflation would go to the top 10 percent of income earners in America. Nearly two-thirds of the benefits would go to the super wealthy — the top 0.1 percent of American income earners.
Making the change by fiat would be a bold use of executive power — one that President George Bush’s administration considered and rejected in 1992, after concluding that the Treasury Department did not have the power to make the change on its own.[/i]
