Superman Returns, from director Bryan Singer, tells what happens when the Man of Steel returns to Earth after a mysterious absence of several years. While an old enemy plots to render him powerless once and for all, Superman (Brandon Routh) faces the heartbreaking realization that the woman he loves, Lois Lane (Kate Bosworth), has moved on with her life. Or has she?

Superman's bittersweet return challenges him to bridge the distance between them while finding a place in a society that has learned to survive without him. In an attempt to protect the world he loves from cataclysmic destruction, Superman embarks on an epic journey of redemption that takes him from the depths of the ocean to the far reaches of outer space.

The film bombed big time and so did the one after that although I enjoyed the fight scene with General Zod.

I liked the dude who played superman. I'm not real big on these superhero movies as you know who gonna win in the end. I've heard superman vs batman was good I'll prob see it on dvd when it comes out. Since I don't follow this genre I'm perplexed as to why superman and batman are fighting is it over a women I could understand that but then again you would think either one of them could get any girl they wanted.
