Roy Jones Jr.
Always had a knack for predicting things before they happened and putting Larry in their place Didn't seem to suffer from nuthuggeritis like the rest of them do
Manny Stewart sometimes but he annoys me how in one round when a guy is winning he'll say "And this other guy is probably gonna get stopped tonight"
And then when the other guy wins he says "This happened exactly the way i thought it would"
That just for men hair gel keeping his hair black must be eating away at his brain
I chose Al Berstein #1 because he knows his stuff and doesn't try to steal the show like Atlas or Merchant #2 I don't have Showtime and therefore I don't get to watch it enough to be annoyed by him.
I think the Showtime guys are far superior to HBO.
Manny Steward.. dude is one of the more level-headed color guys it seems.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
As I'm in the UK, I would have to go with Richie Woodhall, he never goes too over the top, and is pretty good at calling fights even if one of his closest friends (Calzaghe) is involved.
This is like voting for the second tallest midget in the circus. Aside form Bernstein, the other choices are grime. They either have verbal constipation (Merchant), sound like wannabe street toughs with horrible grammar (Atlas), or are nasal motor-mouths with whinny NYC accents (Farhood-the very worse). As far as I'm concerned, the least annoying announcer is the mute button.

i'd say it has to go to Roy Jones and George Foreman, although Foreman would get over excited sometimes lol but he would defend fighters from the favoritism of HBO especially in the Jone/Ruiz fight, Sean O'Gradey also is a decent commentator
Picking Teddy Atlas here is almost ban worthy, its just in bad taste.
I don't even want to look to see if anybody did, it would just be too much.
Oh well, I did. CFH, that's disturbing.
I would go with Al Bernstein and I would go for Teddy Atlas as the most annoying human ever that allegedly came from human parents.
I disagree 100 percent. Teddy Atlas knows more than anyone of these commentator's put together about this great sport. Annoying level is pretty low compared to the HBO team I find Joe Tessitore more annoying then Teddy. It was neck and neck for me with Teddy and Bernstein but I went with the ex-fighter.
I picked other...i don't know who it is but probably any other is better that the guys on the list.
Hidden Content Click clack ! Give up the purse.........or yetti will find you.
Teddy knows about the sport but he finds one thing relative to a fighter or a fight and repeats it endlessly all night long, and he never ever ever shuts up. All night, all three minutes of every round, he never shuts up. Which is amazing considering he says the same thing over and over.
I haven't heard an FNF broadcast in a while, its just too much.
Especially considering as you said, Tessitore is annoying too. Although no one except for maybe Hugh Jackman, Larry the Cable Guy or Brendan Fraser are as annoying as Teddy. Put them all in a room though and the only one coming out tear less is Teddy. The rest would be incoherent, mumbling something about using their height.
Bob Papa was great on FNF. Is great still.

Teddy's tough guy persona is bile-inducing. In his book, he talks about his friendship with all time scum bag Sammy "The Bull " Gravano who murdered 19 known vctims and then flipped like a rat on his "buddies" including Gotti. It's this kind of "tough by association" crap that makes me want to puke into his face. He also constantly reminds people of The Teddy Atlas Foundation. Yeah, big deal. Just announce fights and STFU about the other stuff.
As for Tessitore, he is beyond beyond. A total shill for ESPN and Teddy. As for Saoul or Saad or whatever that moron's name is, I like to see him leave the show once and for all and ESPN drop Teddy's pre-fight analysis. It's beyond grim. It's horrible.
Bernstein and John Scully are the two guys I like the best.
Damm it, you hit a nerve with this thread!!!!!!!!!!
