Default Hate losing weight before fight

I've been doing Muay Thai for 3 and half years. I had five fights (3-2). In first fight I weight 130 and fought a opponent with 7 fights (6-1) experience who weight in at 125. I won that match. However after that pretty much all of my opponent was 10 to 20 lbs heavier so I have never liked to lose weight. I keep try to stay at 130 or go up to 145. However I have first boxing match on Oct 7th.

Since I changed gym last month, I have gained four lbs in muscle. I'm worry that I will keep gaining more weights. So I'm wondering if any boxer don't lose weight before fight or do they all always try to lose as much weight as possible? I really don't like to lose weight and don't want to be pressed to by coach to lose weight. I also wonder what are the pos and con of not losing weight to fight at lightest weight possible.

I don't mind fight heavier opponent, but I am kinda worry because two of kick boxing orgaize I wantto fight in require me to be less 132 lbs or over 145/150 lbs

Oh btw for some reason I can't send personal message

i think i get what you mean... but no it happens all the time!! most people who fight at a certain weight will grind themselves down and lose wieght before every fight!!
for example carlos baldomir when not training and whilst waiting to negotiate his next fight...
walks around at about 180 190 pounds and yet he fights at 147 crazy as it sounds it is hard to make wieght but like they said before he fought gatti..... hes like a tank he will be 147 pounds for about a minute and by the time the fight is on it'll be like boxing a tank because hes put alot of wieght back on!!
its a good strategy in some ways but for some its incredibly hard to make wieght but it works!

so you can like make the weight then gain it all back on you dont have to maintain that weight that sounds pretty messed up and kind of like cheating
