I totally get the aim and precaution but does seem it could make things convoluted and murky between ref and commission officials. No extra time afforded fighters or corner.

DeGale needs to win this fight really clearly tonight. He's fighting the house fighter. He's up against Al Haymon, De Bella, Mayweather and Showtime. If he only wins by a couple of rounds then he's going to lose. I think he's going to win but I'm not sure he's going to get the decision.
