Or is Quillen ducking everyone and just content defending his titles against non.threatening opponents?

GGG called Quillin out... Quillin responded and said let's do it in Brooklyn. After that GGG went silent.

Yes because we all know GGG is afraid to fight in Brooklyn.

Kid Chocolate is facing Matvey Korobov in November. Jay Z's new boxing promotional company outbid GB and TR for the fight. It's an interesting development in Kid Chocolate's career. Should he beat Korobov, which he likely will, although it's a good fight, the question will be where he goes from there.

The fans will demand unification. The promoters are just waiting on the ripe time for it to take place.

Quillin has a mandatory with Korobov right around the corner. I'm becoming convinced the powers that be guide Qullins career with the focus of a kid texting while driving in the rain. He finally gets a meaningful 'largish' fight with a fellow undefeated...and they put him head to head with one of the more anticipated fights of the year with Hopkins vs Kovalev on a competing network.

    *Edit...am I dumb? Wait this is a Simulcast hbo..right

Joe Camel will soon have him fighting chicks in elevators.

@RuThLesSrocco - good to have you back. We had some good debates a while back.

You're not a fan of Kid Choc?

As far as the fight with Korobov, I wonder which network it will end up on. Haymon is on Showtime and Top Rank is on HBO. It looks like GB is moving to HBO too, but we'll see.

They won't put it against Hopkins-Kovalev. They'll move it back a week or up a week. It's Kid Chocolate's first fight where he is headlining the event. For his sake, hopefully, he'll turn it up and stop Korobov, which is possible. On the other hand, the title could just as easily change hands.

Is it good to have me back? I haven't gone anywhere...

I like Quillin because I know he's an overrated hype job that's gonna get destroyed as soon as he fights a decent opponent.

As for Jay-Z... He's a piece of trash.

This will be a good fight and these two are a lot more deserving to fight Soliman than Taylor.

So Taylor is actually being allowed to fight? Crazy. I don't know any details of what happened and from what I have read Taylor could well have been justified in defending his home/family, none of us know that but this must lend to that scenario.

For a guy who really shouldn't be fighting in the first place though, to have this kind of distraction going into the ring has got to put him in a bad spot. It's lucky for his brain that Soliman is by no means a hard puncher, but of course he could still get hurt. Didn't Soliman test positive for some amphetamine in one of his STurm wins? Very suspect for a volume puncher to still be operating at 40 after a long career, hope there is reasonable testing done before this one
