I am going to settle for the traditional Lemon and sugar

Did not realise. Wife normally makes them for the kids with sugar and maybe honey.

Did not realise either. Brings back nice memories of being with my mum, brother and sister though. Fucking tragic

Sugar and lemon is best. I had no idea also, but good idea for cooking over Chinese New Year holiday. Hopefully better than last weeks Yorkshire puddings.

No idea what a shrove Tuesday is We enjoyed "Fat Tuesday" today and on the pancake front...best had to be baked fresh apple slices w/brown sugar topped with powder sugar over a stack. The caramelizing will see you eating your fork Wheat pancakes with mango are awesome as well
