Do you go to a pub or get the wife to make it?

We are doing sweet potatoes and asparagus. I've eaten plenty of rabbit before but not sure if that is the same thing as Hare.

Hare is a dark meat, looking at a Hare you would say it's a very big rabbit strange I no rabbit is a white meat. One way I like to cook Hare root veg red currant jelly one tin of ale bitter or stout long slow stewing for about 4 hour's spot on my friend.

but I've never eaten one. We usually eat these either pan fried or grilled.

I read in the Sas survival handbook that if there is only rabbit to eat on an island situation and nothing else then dont eat them as your body uses more energy and wastes more minerals etc than rabbit has in them, and you will starve to death.

    Think I would still eat.

    Andre,

Rabbits much like squirrels are not very smart. You can trap or hunt them pretty easy. As a boy rabbits and squirrel was one of the first thing my old man took me hunting for b/c as a young boy I could just walk through woods and shoot a couple.

Nice meat. I've just got some bison and that isn't bad either. Nice and healthy like venison.
