    Default Thursday night fights

Michael Clark 44-10-1 (18 ) is fighting Jamie Kavanagh 16-1-1 (7) for starters. Clark has seemingly been around forever and on the other side of a decent career. But he just did something he hasn't in last two and that's make it out of the 1st round. Doesn't look half bad actually

I think this is GBP first card after the breakup. So far the lights are on and they have not had to hold flashlights on the ring

Kavavagh strong in the second. Caught Clark with a big right along ropes, moving well

Ring center Clark too sharp but on the ropes he is doing that wide eyes closed swinging. Ugly. Decent 4th for Clark boxing off jab and sharp rights. Have this 2-2 and its only 8 rounder. Clark claims headbutt and cut start of 5th...Kavanagh lots of reddening...low blow on Clark midway and given time...ohhh right hand decks Clark who just kind of wilted down...gets up and says no thanks..wow that was anti climactic but Kavanagh turned it up well and Clark suddenly felt every bit his 40 yrs of age. Fight over!

Clark is fading in the 5th. Pretty good little scrap. Clark couldn't handle the pace, a few years back Clark would have won.

Alexis Santos 13-0 (11) now fighting 6'7 Daniel Martz 10-1-1 (7) Heavyweights....dear god Martz last fight was a thrashing of one of THE most shot fighters today, Dante Craig...who started career as a Jr middle

I smell a timber moment here...oh shit, he fooked his knee up?! Santos just took a count!! His leg is messed up bad

We saw him last out I think and this looks familiar!! Santos is walking on one leg and this will prob be stopped in corner! Woooowww. Out for second but can't even stand. All this giant has to do is lean on him, he buckles again but pushed ref away to go on, checked in corner with Dr. and Santos says lets go...this looks like Derrick Jefferson v Maskaev, dude can't stand but insist on going.

They need to think long term career here, damage. He is arguing with corner and yelling no fuckin way. corner wants it over...it should be over

Martz is awful passive with a hobbled prospect here in 3rd, just pour it on. He has zero anchor foot and reduced to shooting trap bombs when Martz wades in. Very interesting

Well that's it. They called it and Martz with no amateur fights from West Virginia who started in tough man comps just got the biggest win of career. That's big regardless of asterisk to ankle.

I have never seen this situation before, Santos has a hurt leg, has fallen down several times and they are letting the fight continue.
I don't know what to think. They finally stop the fight between the 3rd and 4th rounds.

First thing that came to mind was if they made it to 5th got to cards and a NC? Reminded me of this one....

That was a first for me, it was like letting a fighter with a broken arm continue for two rounds.
    What was the point?

I guess it all comes down to the ability to defend yourself. Guys have fought with busted hands, arms and jaws but at the time we just don't know a break, a sprain, twist etc. Rarely is it obvious, a Ruelas snapped arm with Franklin. You actually heard the 'snap'. But yeh, his corner let him override everyone there and go one more round. Pride, faith, stupidity...who knows

Tevin Farmer 15-4-1 (3) and Emanuel Gonzalez 14-0 (7) in main event. Farmer is a Berto like clone in deep here, might just get plowed under. I'll be here all week...please tip your waiter

Heavies again. Man it's over, the first solid punch Kelly lands and it's over. That was a nasty hematoma that developed on on Newell's head.
Man, you have to pay attention tonight or you'll forget who fought in what order.

Farmer flashing and dashing well, pretty sharp first two. Gonzalez needs to get that shocked puppy look off his face. Beginning to wonder if he has ever faced a southpaw...he has an expression like he would rather be napping. Had the impression he'd be ground down as with Pedraza
