    You can also select
A.N.OTHER if you do so, who is your choice and why ?
Toss up for me between Rigo and Roman. I would have clicked both if I could have.

As far as the popularity 4 popularity contest they will both miss out. Rigo's perfection bores the fast food fans and Gonzalez is to small unless there is some kind of dramatic shift.

Gennady could also challenge in this but because of the division, its history, where he's from and what he's doing to it I think he may not get a chance to seal it.

From a strictly boxing standpoint and leaving out all the fluff that the term represents, you could pretty much put those 3 in any order.
This was what I would have written also. I chose GGG for the names listed, but Rigo, Roman, and Crawford are all superstars. Ward was off the list also, and he would be my #1 right now, even with his lack of activity the past few years (other than the comeback fight).

You had to though, he hadn't pulled out yet.... It's understandable, no need to apologize or beat yourself up about it, little buddy.

@mikeeod I see you've created this fantasy where Floyd and I are lovers.

You've gone into some detail about how you've imagined him inside of me -- inside of my mouth, how I've serviced him, and you've even given account of how you've fantasized him pulling out of me.

Strange you want to admit all these thoughts and images you play out in your own mind, but want to blame me for them being there...

They (The Ring) updated the list (a cynic might suggest they're purposely leaving out Haymon fighters)

    1. Roman Gonzalez
    2. Andre Ward
    3. Sergey Kovalev
    4. Gennady Golovkin
    5. Guillermo Rigondeaux
    6. Wladimir Klitschko
    7. Terence Crawford
    8. Manny Pacquiao
    9. Shinsuke Yamanaka
    10. Kell Brook

I don't think P4P lists really matter. They work on a superficial level, but they don't mean a great deal. Maybe if you are going on dominating a division then it should be Wlad, but I coughed up a little bit of sick when typing that.

Rigondeax or Ward Wlad is also in with a shout due to longevity and dominance.

Gatta be Wlad. But then again, Manny should be up there as well. I would have Manny/Wlad in a tie.

Is this a joke? It has to be a joke right? I feel silly even asking because it has to be a joke. But, is it a joke?

Glad to see the poll going Wvlads way. If he isnt number 1 on the mythical listings then he certainly needs to be up there.
Ring magazine seems to be rating Gonzales highly because of his zero but he hasn’t been as dominant as Klitschko has in the last decade. Imo the best fighter on the planet is Klitschko as no man can beat him. With other fighters on the list you only have to move them up in weight before they meet their match but theres nobody capable of beating Wvladimir. Heavyweights seemed to get excluded for that reason from p4p lists but weight aside he is the most dominant guy in his division and has been for a while. Not putting Gonzales down but once hes dominated for a decade with can start talking about him in a similar way.
Ward is irrelevant and shouldn’t be ranked now because its opinion rather than basing on facts. We don’t know how good he is now. In 2012 he may have been a top fighter but so were Martinez and Pacquiao who have since lost. So keeping Ward so high is rewarding him for being inactive. Where do you draw the line with inactivity before they have to prove themselves again because it should be a year according to the mandatory bodies. Had Sergio Opted to sit out for afew years to let his leg heal would they still rank him as high as he was in 2012? I think not

Rigondeux is interesting because he is clearly one of the most talented fighters on the planet and that should be what its all about but he hasn’t really dazzled against top flight opposition so he needs to make a convincing statement against a good fighter like Ward does.

To me p4p is the fighter who could dominate at any weight if they had the proportionate size and weight. Wlad would get beat easily by that definition by Rigo or Ward who would box circles around Wlad.
