Default PBC Fight Night: Leduan Barthelemy vs Eduardo Ramirez

Nothing major but some live midweek action featuring younger brother of Rances. Great exposure for yet another Featherweight hopeful. Opponent Ramirez comes to the States for the first time undefeated at 22-0 but little known of him.

Bryan Figueroa 12-0 vs Juan Jimenez 7-0-1 lightweights up first. Is it really only Tuesday ffs?

Bryan Figueroa takes a unanimous. Got stuck on the phone. What do ya say to the ol man when he asks you if you still talk to his long deceased mom and dad . Anyway shit I need fights.

Duarn Vue 12-0-2 built like a 5 ft tall power house vs 8-1 Alejandro Salinas spr feathers. Salinas really sneaking thru some short hooks here in 1st. Vue trying some bob and weave low approach. One of these fellas is sure to gas at this pace

Salinas really has the options here, picking wide hooks at range and standing him upright now pushing back on heels. Huge right near end of round right on point. Vues neck is a shock absorber after 3.

Hard right hook to body hurts Vue to begin round 4. Kid is hard as a rock but being hit clean with what Salinas chooses.

Salinas corner really pouring on the pep talk though Vue has been hard pressed to eek a round after 6 from my view. Has a jagged cut over right eye. Vue getting in a couple chopping overhand rights mid 7th but Salinas ending well backing Vue off. Jake Lowe in Salinas corner

Salinas leaving Vue scrambling to regain his footing after Vue swings like he's breaking rocks with a hammer, falling off balance. Massive grit and fire by Vue but limited to say the least. Shouldn't be close at all, maybe 6-2 but in this day and age..shit maybe we'll get a draw .

    Salinas unanimous 79-71, 77-75, 80-74.

Barthelemy with the blond bushy Mohawk. Battle of southpaws. Are he and Rances twins, dead ringer? Ramirez looks a bit undersized.

Nice few moments for Ramirez ending 1st and catching Barthelemy with single hooks. Barthelemy standing bit tall and still there but stepping it up to start 2nd.

Really nice 4th by Ramirez, really clipping an almost lackadaisical Barthelemy and noticeably moving him back. Big contrast in range here but Ramirez has nullified it and finding his way. Barthelemy needs to tighten up and get back to body taxing.

Barthelemy throwing those awkward shots off his elbows if that makes sense, stands straight up and leads with wide right hands. Better round for him but like Ramirez catching him between delivery there and jab working. Bartehelmy sitting down on shots beginning the 6th

Ramirez literally landed 10 unanswered small shots there, Barthelemy just looks at him like a fookin stiff Piñata. 1st half to Barthelemy overshadowed buy all fierce volume of Ramirez to end 6th. Damn, he ate him up there.

Ramirez grabbing the stage and opportunity here, backing Barthelemy hard and just constantly clipping him. Barthelemy has zero head movement and fewer answers 7th. Nice little scrap

Better boxing and movement by Barthelemy start 8th, jab back and finally realized it's actually legal to move right or left. Ramirez left in lurches and not landing near as well.

Pretty cool promotion gave newly retired Guerrero a spot on announce team. New 168 champ David Benavides also. Notice lately that they and other promotions are just rotating active fighters to call cards. Kind of slick. Have lost track of last round, Ramirez pouring on in 10th and Barthelemy back to just this ugly back straight up movement and looks terrible being hit clean. Cards should be all over the place here, but Ramirez is the story in what was intended Barthelemy showcase. Tough scrap regardless.

    97-93 Barthelemy...96-94 Ramirez...95-95 even up...and we have a draw!
