I wish I could have found a better version. Really liked that Eddie Murphy wanted Roberto Duran in a cameo appearance.
What boxers you like that have played in a role or two?

Ali playing himself in the 1981 move Body & Soul
Leon Kennedy played a wanna-be Sugar Ray Leonard role- and his nemesis is a Roberto Duran knock-off called Madman Santiago.
Not relevamt to the thread, but for anyone whose got about 3 minutes- Leon Kennedy takes Duran's role and sends it into stereotype city, nevertheless Madman Santiago is my favorite boxing villain in a movie!

@Master SUPER disappointed in you bruh both Steve Collins and Lenny McLean in Lock Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels
Former California state 130 pound champion Greg Puente has been in a lot of TV stuff. Before the covid stuff shut down filming he was in the background on several shows a night, it seemed.
I remember this one in 83' as a kid. Mark Breland had the big role in a timely flick. He filmed while still an Amatuer winning Olympic Gold in 1984.
Not a movie but a sitcom for George Foreman. It seems he did do a few things before his 2nd comeback.
I remember him on Sanford & Son.
And a short cameo appearance with Poiter and Cosby in Lets Do it Again.
