    Default Vernon Fu#*en Forrest (spoiler)

i know he was only fighting baldmir and people probaly think baldamir's style is tailor made for vernon but all that aside vernon looked sharp. for a guy who only had like 3 fights in the past few years and has been bother by injury he look sharp. his defense was nice, hand speed was nice, his footwork was nice, and he just seem to be doing all the right shit. his was using very good fients throughout the fight that allow him to set up left hooks that was rocked baldamir head back.

I had picked Baldi to when. Man Vernon really did look good .I guess I had forgotten he was fighting hurt all the time before. I would like to see him kick Myorgas but now. Something about Myorga makes me want to see him beat up,I think I could never get tired of seeing that.

I'll tell you what, this was one of those rare fights that looked like a stinker going in, but turned out to be a damn solid fight. Vernon looks the best he has in years. He looks like he finally might be healthy. Baldomir is a tough hombre; Vernon was striping him with solid shots to the jaw, but he kept coming forward. Good fight. Forrest may still be a factor.

It will be interesting to see his next move. A unification bout with Spinks would be about the biggest fight he could manage to land at 154. Maybe he will join the brigade heading back to 147.

Yes, he looked amazing last night. After the Ike fight anything is a huge step up though, isn't it?

Baldomir shouldn't retire on a loss. He should fight another slug...ger and get another W before calling it quits.

Mayorga is a good style for Baldomir to beat, I think it ould be a good fight but Baldomir is a better fighter and Mayorga couldnt hurt him i dont think.

I totally agree, he just cant keep up with the fast guys, he could cause major problems for a slugger with that granite chin. I would love to see him fight the winner of Vargas/Mayorga. You know whats odd, Baldomir is still rated above Forrest in Light Middleweight on Boxrec

I don't think Wladimer Klitschko could hurt Baldomir

I think Mayorga would crush Baldomir. Minus heart and determination,he really is one of the most limited fighters I've seen that has recieved titles shots in a long long long time. Vernon did look good,in fact better than Mayweather did v Baldo but it's Baldo. If you have lateral movement of any kind, you'll beat him. I'd like to see Vernon fight someone like Karmazin or may be try to unify.

I know he definitely wants Mayorga for personal reasons but I don't think that fight would prove anything. Mayorga is nowhere near the fighter he once was.
